About Me
I have 3 grown up children and have a large house with access to a local park. I enjoy looking after children and am currently working with several families but I am looking to fill a vacancy.
I would look to include your child and make them feel part of a home environment and feel secure and welcomed whilst ensuring they are provided with the tools to encourage their development.
I will use the seven areas of the EYFS and create fun learning activities to develop your child's social,communication and creative skills which will enable them to reach their goals.
I will prepare detailed diaries for your child showing their day and make notes of their achievements and collate their two year assessment and journal. I pay particular attention to including each child and that parents are fully informed and involved in my work.
I also work with my husband who helps with pick up's and is my assistant and this means the children experience a family environment in which they feel comfortable and encourages their learning.
I have also now been approved to accept two year old funded free places and have limited space for free 3 and 4 year old free spaces.
My Experience
I started working as a childminder when my youngest child was two and looked after children for eight years. I then helped my husband run his business until I decided I was missing having children around the house so I decided to return to childminding.
I have renewed my licence and have been looking after children since 2011.I am currently looking after children aged 1to seven and provide;morning,day and after school. We pick up from; Sandiway,St Bedes and Hartford Schools.
I have all the relevant Ofsted documentation and have been inspected and received a 'Good' evaluation and can provide parent endorsements. I have been rated Good at my 2016 evaluation and that the children in my care are achieving and settle very quickly.
I am constantly reviewing my practice and have just completed some new training in Safeguarding and equality and diversity to ensure children are kept safe and secure and that all children are included.
My Qualifications
I am fully inspected and have first aid training and have taken Ofsted courses on the EYFS.
I have recently completed an equality and diversity course and I have completed a level 3 safeguarding course.
My Availability
I can provide full day care with school pick up and school holiday cover.

My little boy was with Jacky and Steve for a couple of years and really loved going to their house!
Jacky & Steve have a lovely big house and are both genuine lovely people, they are very accommodating and great with the children.. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Thank you for everything you did for Joshua over the last couple of years.. we are sad to be moving.. you will both be missed! x

Jacky and Steve
My son started with Jacky and Steve in December 2017 after moving to his new school. He settled in so quickly with them and thoroughly enjoys his time there. Jacky and Steve are wonderful and the services they provide are second to none.
I would highly recommend them to any new parents.

My son has been with Jacky and Steve for 2 years now. He went from being in a nursery environment full time to being with Jacky and Steve full time. He is now at school and gets picked up from school 4 days a week. Jacky and Steve create a great home environment for the children and they make an excellent team. My son is a really fussy eater and they have managed to introduce different foods into his diet and he is now eating a varied diet. I would highly recommend them to any parent, the children love them and they have a great relationship with the children. They are also extremely accommodating in all aspects and provide a very happy learning experience for the children. As we are unable to pick up from school all messages and work go through Steve and Jacky and we always get the information from them.

My youngest has been going to jacky and Steve's since 2015 and my eldest goes in the school holidays. Both girls always enjoy their time here which is the reassurance all working parents need. Jacky has always able to accommodate change of hours when I have changed employment which has always been a huge help. My youngest started going when she was 9 months old and it has been lovely to Watch her grow and develop within the home from home setting.

We have been using Jacky & Steve for over 18mths to look after our 5yr old daughter.
When our daughter started with Jacky she was there full time Mon-Fri, but now the little one is at school we use Jacky's services in the morning and afternoon, with either Jacky or Steve "doing the school run".
We find our daughter has benefited both emotionally and educationally from this service and she "loves going to Jacky & Steve's".
We couldn't recommend this childminder high enough, and Jacky & Steve are more like part of the family than just our childminders.

Jacky has been looking after my 2 girls for the past 5 years and is an excellent childminder and role model. The girls love going round to jacky’s House and we couldn’t be happier with the service she provides. I highly recommend her to any parents in the area requiring a childminder.

My girls have been here for over a year. Inspirational childminder and my daughters love going there. Will always go the extra mile and offer extra help if required. Lovely setting Would highly recommend.
