About Me
I have several years of experience in working with children from newborn to 10 years old. During this time I gained a variety of skill, having worked in both private hoes and also in nursery settings. I have created trusting relationships with all families I worked for, as I can manage to adapt to different situations to be able to accomplish the tasks I have been set with success. I am a very easy going and friendly person. I love creating new activities and have loads of fun with the kids and make sure they are always busy learning new things. I also overcome challenges and I am a very patient person when it comes to dealing with any situation with the kids, as it is my passion to guide them in the right direction.
I have a great understanding of child development and I take it very seriously when children are under my care to make sure they have the correct support system and they are in a safe environment at all times.
I love to engage with children with games and stories and of course have a sense of humour. I also speak Spanish, so in case you have an interest for your children to speak the language I would be happy to guide them and speak to them in Spanish.
I love cooking and have a wide range of recipes' that all kids have loved!
I am very confident to say that I can be an asset to lot of families as I always keep a calm approach and a very positive attitude and can also be easy to adapt.
Finally and mos important, I keep a high standard of keeping things very organised and love to teach new skills as well as I love learning from them.
My Experience
During the 10+ years of experience I have had looking after children, I also have had children of my own whom are now grown up. I loved the first stages of life so much, that this is the reason why I am one of the best child nannies that you have yet to meet.
My experience have ranged from looking after newborns to teenage stages. I also had experience looking after twins and more than one child per household.
I have also taken cared of primary school homework and helped out with certain primary projects of school.
Finally, I have done from breakfast time to bedtime routines, as well as creating a healthy menu for the children. I also planned days outs, playtimes and activities to make sure the children are always in the correct learning track. I also have had families in which have taken me to trips with them inside and outside of the country such as Maldives, etc. These trips can be talked about and we can arrange if anything similar comes up.

I am available from now and I am looking for a full time position with more than 40 hours a week and could also include weekends if needed.

Luz has been with our family for nearly a year, and due to my husbands job we are
unable to continue to work together anymore.
When we originally were going through the interview process to find a nanny for our 14
month old son last year as a first time mom I found it extremely difficult to find someone
whom I could Trust blindly with our son. Luz arrived for the interview and within minutes
I knew she was the one. Like Mary Poppins her bright positive energy took over the
room.
Luz really is a special woman, when she was home with us it was as if my son had two
mums. Her kind, nurturing and loving ways made it easy for my husband and I to be at
peace while we worked.
Luz immediately worked with us to come up with healthy routines and activities for our
son. Keeping him busy daily with activities in the morning and different play groups and
play dates in the afternoons. She respected our way of parenting and worked with us to
find ways to better improve our son’s development.
Along side keeping our son busy she cooked for us as a family and helped with light
housekeeping. She was always conscious of our son’s nutritional intake and making
meals which he loved.
Luz is a super nanny, when with our son she was always present and had her eyes on
him at all times. Sending us photos through the day for us to feel involved in his
activities and whereabouts.
Luz and her family became a part of our family, we traveled together and in such a short
period shared memories I’ll hold close to my heart forever.
Not only does my son love her like his family but my husband and I do too.
As a first time mom I’m so grateful for everything she brought into our lives, the endless
knowledge and love.
We will miss her dearly and hope she finds an amazing family that will appreciate her
for the truly special woman she is.

Luz has been taking care of my 3-year old twin boys since they were only a few months old. She has grown to be a member of our family whom we cannot manage without. The boys adore her and always look forward to her coming. Even on weekends when she is not working, they ask for her. What makes Luz unique is that being a nanny is not just a job to her- she wholeheartedly cares about the well-being of my children- ensuring that they are happy, content, well-fed, and cared for. When they get into their 3-year old tantrums, she is extremely patient and takes the time to understand what they need and figures out how to calm them down, including giving cuddles and reassurance when it is appropriate. I often travel abroad for work and have a peace of mind when I do because I know that Luz is like a second mom to my children. She is also very flexible in her role and will offer extra support where it is needed, be it picking up milk from the shop or helping to tidy up the house. Plus, she is an excellent cook! She is not a fluent English speaker but all of her great qualities and her hardworking nature more than make up for that, plus she provides an opportunity for children to pick up another language. We will soon be moving away, and so Luz is looking for another home. We will surely miss her but her next family will surely be gaining a gem of a nanny!
