Part of The Family

Angela, started looking after our daughter when she was about 16 months old to 4 years old. As soon as I met her I knew that she was what my daughter needed.. she was kind, softly spoken and very warm.

She takes the children on days out, they sing songs, do educational activities, messy play to name a few.

Angela, has supported me as a first time mum with my questions, potty training my daughter and generally helping to create a wonderful little girl!

If we could have continued to stay with Angela, we would have but unfortunately my daughters school was in a different area 😞

A wonderful lady who has done more for me & my family than she could ever know ❤️

The most amazing woman ever !

We have been using Angela as our sons childminder since January 2021 when my son was 10 and a bit months old and now he's a cheeky nearly 14 month old. He's done so amazingly with Angela and come such a long way. She is honestly the most amazing woman there is. So caring, so lovely and always goes the extra mile. I am absaloutly heartbroken to have to leave her due to moving to a different area I so so wish we could take her with us! If anyone is thinking about a childminder I cannot rate Angela enough. She deserves 1 million stars 5 isn't enough for her 🌟

She has truly been a blessing to us and we all love her as if she was our own family 💞

Grateful to have found Angela!

Our daughter started at Angela’s setting when she was 15 months until nearly 4 years old. She initially started with another Childminder but they just didn’t click and my daughter (and I) were just so unhappy with the situation. I began to think I wouldn’t be able to go back to work. Then we found Angela and her knowledge and experience shone through. She was just amazing at helping to settle my daughter, and also to reassure us as parents we would get lots of pictures and videos sent throughout the day. This carried on throughout the time our daughter was cared for by Angela.

Her setting has always been a calm and exciting place for the children to play and learn. She would also plan fun trips out during the holidays which really benefitted the children.

Angela is a very caring, kind, warm and hardworking lady who creates a lovely environment for the children. My daughter was so fond of Angela and still is. She will still talk about Angela and the other children whom she became very attached to. We are very grateful to have found Angela, and also for helping our daughter to grow in the best possible way!

The most wonderful lady!

Our daughter attended Angela’s setting since age 14 months right up until school age and still attends for school holidays - this will continue till our daughter is old enough to look after herself!!

I remember dreading having to find a childminder to enable me to go back to work - essentially the same as finding a stranger to take care of your baby, it was a huge decision but Angela was the first person we found and we clicked right away. She made me feel as comfortable as I could with the settling in stage - she was so relaxed and gave me so much confidence that it would be fine, and it really was!

I was surprised and comforted with the amount of communication I received from Angela during the day, multiple photos/updates etc and then a detailed update on pick up. I thought this would be just while she settled in, to give me confidence but it continued throughout her whole attendance which I think was over and above what anyone could ask for!

The holidays comprised of amazing trips out to local places which all of the children absolutely loved and benefited from so much which was just another thing that took me by surprise, Angela just gives everything her all!

She has a wonderful large indoor and outdoor play space FULL of toys and educational equipment for all ages. It is always troublesome to convince my daughter to leave!

I can’t thank Angela enough for all she has done for our family in helping raise our wonderful daughter!

Contract termination due to better offer

I would like to write this review as a word of warning to other parents considering Angela as a childminder.

We had Angela lined up to provide before and after school care for our twins from September 2019. We had signed a contract, paid a deposit and even paid for settling in sessions. However, I received a phone call from Angela in June to say that she could no longer provide the sessions I needed as she had a better offer which benefited her more financially (i.e. a child which would attend her setting full time) and therefore she terminated our contract. Not once did she advise us that if a better offer came long she would terminate out contract, she took us on as a fall back option all the well knowing that if she obtained a full time position she would let us go. Having twins can make it very hard to find a childminder which can accommodate both children for the hours I need, therefore I have to organised hence why approached Angela in February. Now I have been left with very few options which has resulted in me having to change my hours at work.

I would like to apologise once again for any inconvenience caused. My personal situation changed and I was therefore no longer able to provide the spaces that we discussed for September 2019.  Whilst I appreciate the inconvenience I have followed the terms and conditions as laid out in the contract further more two months instead of two weeks that we set up. I have off course and without question refunded the deposit and settling in paid to me. I have worked as a childminder for many years and never had any complaints about my childcare provision.

Much more than you can expect!!

My 11 months old little treasure has been with Angela since September. He loves being with her. He is always happy to be left under her care and he is always happy when I am going to collect him :-).

She gives me complete peace of mind. She is flexible, loving, caring, hard working and going the extra mile to please your little one is never too much trouble!!

I have seen her interacting with the older children under her care and her kindness and loving acts always put a smile on my face.

Her knowledge and confidence are another reason to be reassured that your child is left in the best possible hands.

I can not recommend her enough.

Really nice lady

Angela has been looking after my son since she started her business in August, he loved her straight away and enjoys going there after school. She is very punctual and flexible. You can also ask her to teach your kid some Spanish words as is her first language (free of charge!!)
