About Me

My name is Rebecca Johnson and I am currently looking for my forever nanny family or nursery nurse postion.
I am 31 years of age and currently live in a little village in Northamptonshire.
I was born in Berkshire and spent my early years living in Windsor. My family all originate from Windsor and Farnham Common, where they were a large part of the community within farming, motor racing and as members of the Royal Household. I spent my early years living in the Royal Borough until the age of 8 when we moved to Northamptonshire.
I started my journey in Childcare when I was just 17 years of age and gained a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, among other qualifications. In the last year I went to Mallorca to be a kids rep for TUI it was an amazing experience and I learnt so much. on returning I spent some time nanying but decided to embark on a new career in running my own cleaning business! and 4 years later it is still going strong! I am though missing childcare and wanting to go back just part time!

I have always been a motor racing fan and have recently returned from the Belgium Grand Prix after a surprise 60th for my father. It was an experience I will never forget and memories I will cherish. I am also a keen horse rider and have been riding on and off since an early age. When my niece was old enough I also encouraged her to take on the experience of riding as well, which has resulted in us creating so many lovely memories of hacking together. Growing up I thoroughly enjoyed performing, whether that be dancing around the living room in front of my parents or putting on plays for family members. I then attended a performing arts school called Stagecoach where I had the opportunity to be part of many productions and some TV appearances. While I was there I also gained level 1-6 bronze and silver in LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) This has given me the confidence to use my skills in my career. And even though I never made it to the bright lights I still enjoy a boogey with the children. For many years now I have been a keen Campanologist and have travelled around Great Britain ringing at different churches. The interest came from my Grandfather who was a well know bell ringer and Captain of the Tower at Windsor Castle.
I am very much an outdoors person and go nowhere without my Hunter Wellies in the boot of my car. I love animals and they have always been a part of my life. I have bottled fed orphaned lambs with a neighbour, we bottle fed and tube fed over 50 lambs and had very little sleep, but well worth the experience. I am not afraid to get stuck in to the muckier side of life.

I am looking for a family who is wanting either adhoc babysitting/nannying or part time.
