Hello,
I am a fully qualified, Ofsted-registered childcare provider offering a warm, caring, and safe home-from-home environment. My setting provides one-to-one attention tailored to each child’s individual needs, helping them grow, learn, and thrive.
I am based in the Little Hill Estate, Wigston, where I live with my family. My home has been carefully set up to offer a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment for children of all ages.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ofsted registered and DBS (formerly CRB) checked
- Member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)
- Holder of approved Early Years Childcare qualifications
- Certified in Paediatric First Aid
- Fully insured with Public Liability Insurance
- Clean UK driving license
- Over 10 years of experience caring for children aged 0–12 years, including babies, toddlers, and school-aged children
- Ongoing childcare training to stay current with best practices
My Approach:
I work as the sole Key Person, ensuring your child receives consistent care and attention throughout the day. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support learning and development in children aged 0–5 years.
My setting is inclusive and welcoming to all families, regardless of background, ethnicity, disability, or culture.

- Arts and crafts, singing, storytelling, and early literacy development
- Cooking and meal prep activities for older children
- Freshly prepared, wholesome meals, snacks, and drinks provided daily
- Special dietary needs and halal food available upon request
- Meals included in the hourly rate, depending on care hours per day

My Experience
I hold recognised childcare qualifications and have over 10 years of experience working in Early Years settings, supporting children from birth to five years old. My experience includes caring for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children, with a strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support children’s learning and development during their most formative years.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend childcare training sessions, courses, conferences, and meetings. This helps me to stay updated with best practices and build strong partnerships with parents to ensure each child receives the best possible care and support.
My Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma in Child Day Care.
- Level 3 Cache Diploma in Home-based Childcare
- Level 3 Diploma in Child Psychology.
- Level 2 Award in Food Safety in catering.
- Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Evidence of public Liability Insurance,(PACEY)
My Availability
- I am open Monday to Friday from 8.00am till 5.00pm.
- I offer One-off emergency Childcare, costs starting from £10 p/h.
- I offer after school pick up from Little Hill Primary school only. I am unable to do any morning school runs.
I provide flexible childcare for Half-term, Inset days, school Holidays & Short-Term contract. My current childcare spaces are available in the ticked boxes bellow.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I offer affordable and flexible hourly rates, with costs tailored to suit your childcare needs.
My hourly rate includes:
- Freshly cooked, wholesome meals
- Healthy snacks and drinks
(depending on the contracted hours per day)
I accept:
- Most childcare vouchers
- Tax-Free Childcare
- Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) for eligible 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds (15 or 30 hours per week)

My little boy goes here and has done now for just over a year. He always tells me about his day and what he has done and where he has been. They are always doing an activity such as going to the park or playgroup which he loves! Viv sends updates and you can tell the kids enjoy being there! I would highly recommend!

I can truly not recommend Viv enough! My daughter has only been with Viv for 4 months but there is such a difference in her already. She gets to socialise and make new friends and they are always going out to parks, groups or crafting at home etc. It really is a home from home and although my daughter cries when I drop her off as she misses me Viv and her new friends comfort and support her and Viv usually sends me a picture of her happily playing 5 minutes later. The other thing I'm also so impressed with is the home cooked food she feeds them. I feel my daughter is a lot more intrigued to eat different vegetables being able to watch the other children do it. I could go on for ages about how amazing she is lol. I feel very blessed that she is such a huge part of my daughter growing up in these important years. 10/10

Viv has cared for my two girls since I went back to maternity leave in 2019. My girls adore her and are thriving. Viv has supported me during potty training and I look forward for my son to attend when I return back to work this year :)

My son has been with Viv for over 3 years & has enjoyed every minute. He learns so much through play & is so excited to come home & tell me all about his fabulous day with Viv & his best friends. All the of children in the setting have a great time together.

Viv has looked after my boys since I returned to work after maternity leave Aug last year. They both love it there & look forward to going!my eldest who she picks up after school cannot wait for school holidays so he can go all day.

My daughter adores Vivian, as soon as we walk towards her gate she kicks her legs with excitement and waves me goodbye. She reaches out for Vivian and she does not even do this for anybody but me, her mum. Vivian is understanding, professional and friendly making my transition of going back to work a breeze. I am a young mum and worry about a lot but I do not have to worry about my daughter being in Vivians care. 10/10, 100% amazing!!!

We struggled for months to find the right childminder, eventually we found Vivian. My son has been in her care since Jan 2013 and my daughters since May '13. We have always found Vivian to be friendly, reliable and flexible to our needs. She collects my son after school as well as my daughter after nursery and they are both very happy. My two year old is always very excited for the morning pick up and goes happily with Vivan. This leaves me at peace to know my children are happy in her care. They are always busy doing something fun and look forward to each day with her. Thank you for giving us peace of mind and caring for our children as well as you do. We couldnt be happier.
