About Me
My name is Joanna and I have four girls, aged 11, 9, 6 and 2.
We like to do lots of activities in the week and we enjoy exploring new places. We have various annual passes, including Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park, Longdown and Manor Farm. We also go to various stay and play groups in the week.
I always provide children with fun and stimulating learning experiences. I enjoy sharing photographs with parents so you can see what your child has been doing. I have lots of resources at my home, some of the childrens favourites include sand, water play, books, musical instruments and construction. We also have plenty of outside toys including tents/ tunnels, trikes and climbing equipment.
We love being outside and we are lucky enough to have Lakeside County Park next to our home. Children enjoy visiting the ducks, going on nature walks and exploring the outside environment.
I have various qualifications, including a BA (hons) in Early Childhood Studies, Level 3 Forest School leader Btec award and I have completed the relevant childminding course. I am Ofsted registered and DBS checked.
My Experience
I have previously worked for a busy children's centre for 6 years. My role began as an Early Years Practitioner and I progressed to the role of Forest School Co-ordinator. This included planning and delivering exciting learning opportunities for children and monitoring their progress. Part of my role was also to deliver training to local settings and co-ordinate visits.
Prior to this, I worked for a YMCA Creche. I have also had various nanny roles and I have worked in after school care.

My Availability
I currently do not have space until September 2025. Please message me if you are interested in reserving a place for your child.
I am now offering school pick up from Fryern School in Chandlers Ford.
I also offer care during the school holidays.
I am registered for overnight care.

I accept childcare vouchers and I am registered to receive payment though the tax free childcare scheme.
