About Me
Hi, I’m a childminder of many years. I have brought up six of my own children, fostered many. I work with my daughter from a purpose built playroom, bathroom and kitchen area. Our children enjoy sand, water, paints and freedom to choose which toys to play with, the children enjoy trips to parks, farms, zoos and walks. I’ve worked for many years always in the childcare sector from providing crèches for adult education to driving a double decker playbus doing outreach work for Manchester City council. I now enjoy working from home doing the most amazing job supporting parent/carers to be able to go to work relaxed in the knowledge that their little one is being cared for to a very highly standard whilst also learning and enjoying their day. I’m happy to meet for an informal chat before initial visit and I can also provide verbal refs from past and present parents/carers. I work with my adult daughter.
My Experience
As a qualified nursery nurse, I have worked for Manchester education services , I drove a double decker out reach play bus, offering activities for children aged 0 to 5years an . 5 to 11years holiday outreach club. I also worked as a parent educator, supporting young parents for adult education services. When my children were very young I worked as a lunch time organizer in nursery .I have worked in educational settings through out my carer. I became a childminder temporary 25 years ago . I have achieved Ofsted rating of good, first aid trained, covid vaccinated. I have also enjoyed doing some fostering. I have worked in the childcare profession continually.
My Qualifications
qualified nursery nurse. parent educator. first aider. safe guarding, child protection. 30 years continual experience in the early years field. I continue to develop my knowledge by attending courses in the evening and weekends. graded good in all areas.
My Availability
I work from 7-30am to 6pm . Monday to Friday. other hours are available on discussion. I offer full time, part time, term time only , funded hours, also old school childcare voucher schemes places and before and after school care. also we are able to accommodate monthly rotas and shift patterns.

- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
depending on requirements .. we do take all childcare vouchers, monthly fees paid in advance also we offer the funded hours, childcare voucher schemes
