Personal details
My name is Samantha Lovett and I live in Calne with my two children aged 15 and 7 and our loving Dog. I am Ofsted Enhanced DBS Checked.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder (Registered ****** Ofsted).
Activities:
I offer a friendly, flexible, home from home setting for children up to the age of 12 in a safe environment where they can have fun, explore, learn and develop to their full potential. There will be a period of free play offered everyday as well as planned activities and outings.
I have a fantastic enclosed garden, with a vast collection of outdoor toys, which includes ride on toys, a slide, playhouse, see saw and various other toys.
I use my lounge to hold most of the inside play and activities, where there is a wide range of different toys & resources compromising of both plastic and wooden toys both challenging and fun. I also have a large range of books. I also have plenty of craft materials for messy play & crafts and am passionate about messy play with children.
I often visit the following places on outings:
Studley Grange Butterfly World, Various parks, Drews Pond, Rowdey Cow, Coate Water, Town, Feeding the Ducks, Toddler Groups, Whitehall Garden Centre, Nature walks, Playdates with fellow childminder’s, Savenake Forest, Hope Nature Centre, Lydiard Park,
My Experience
I have been working within Nursery and Preschool settings for over 20 years so have a vast knowledge of Early Years and childcare.
I have worked with a wide range of ages and needs of children over the last 10+ years and have always looked for ways to enhance my skills and knowledge throughout my career.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My fees are £5 per hour for EYFS and £5.50 per hour for school age children. Payment is required upfront monthly in advance.
Included in that price is nappies, Wipes, Nappy Cream, Outings, Sun Cream, Snacks, Individual Drinks Bottles per child to be used whilst in my care - leaving children free to only bring their book bag, lunch/dinner if bringing their own and daily diary with them each day making morning prep much easier for parents.
I do provide meals if needed the fees are: £2 per meal or £5 for all day (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
or I am happy if you wish to bring in packed lunches for your child/children.
I am happy to accept childcare vouchers and apply to any voucher system your employer may use.

We've been so pleased with how our Daughter has settled into Sam's and that Sam keeps us updated on her progress. Our Daughter loves Sam's setting and is very fond of Sam's children too, it's a lovely family environment that our 11 month old (now 18 months) settled into quickly, and has thrived. We love seeing how many activities Sam does with the children each week and the variety of places the children go. Sam is a pleasure to deal with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
