My Requirements

We are looking for someone reliable, motivated and understanding to work with us and help with family life. Childcare will be a mixture of sole charge (main part) and shared care with one of us. We value honesty and openness and are keen that, as much as possible, this job fits your needs as well as ours. We would welcome it if you would like to talk to us to find out more about the job and and see it could work for you.

Working hours:
We try to be as flexible as we can be to ensure your needs are met, as well as ours. These hours are a guideline, can be discussed and there is some flexibility to adjust them.

- Monday - Friday
- 3:00 - 8pm

In school holidays, additional / different hours may be available, subject to agreement between ourselves.

Duties include:
School pick-ups (walking distance), preparing kids' meals, playing with the children, taking them to evening activities (walking distance or short bus rides away), getting them ready for bed and help with light housework such as washing, tidying and cleaning the kitchen, putting away shopping.

Kids' interests include:
Reading, football (in the house and outside it..), IT (computers, coding, games, anything tech....), transport (maps, timetables, journey planning etc), nature, chess, cricket. Some of these are shared by both children, some less shared!

Home set up:
One of us will usually be at home, though often in a separate part of the house from the children. We would welcome someone who is able to work independently, as well as and alongside us.
