About Me
Hello! My name is Elspeth, I am 28 years old and I have over 12 years experience of working with babies, children and teenagers. I have worked in many different settings from families homes, special needs, to schools and nurseries, and currently working full time at a nursery running a baby room. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and I am looking at taking my career down a different route into full time Nannying. I am extremely interested in the personal aspect of Nannying and have so much knowledge and experience to show off. I have my Childcare qualification, Fully Clean and enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Clean driving licence and own car. Just recently I have acquired a qualification in Understanding Autism, and have spent a day training for Baby massage.
My Experience
From my Childcare Qualification I gained lots of experience from working within different settings and with all ages. Being a Infant School, Nursery, Baby room, Special Needs School and I even had the chance to work overseas in Germany at a Kindergarten for a month which was eye opening.
Since qualifying, I have worked in two top nurseries in Lincoln, from ages 0-5; planning activities, cooking food, changing and feeding and everything else that comes along with caring for little ones! I have lots of experience working within home life, as I have been babysitting for years, including overnights.
