Having initially enquired with the well-known local nurseries, we were concerned about the long waiting lists and the large group sizes. A friend encouraged us to consider childminders. We found Sweetness Camp and never looked back. We left our introductory meeting with Jane knowing that our son would be nurtured and loved in a fantastic learning enviroment and we would have the best carers for our son.
Since our son started 8 months ago (aged 11 months), our first impressions have been proven correct and the team have exceeded our expectations in caring for our son and helping us as first time parents. We are extremely impressed at the physical and educational development in our son under the care of the team at Sweetness Camp. The children really benefit from being in a mixed age group setting, where the young ones develop really quickly and the older ones learn how to be caring and sharing with younger children. We can't believe how many words our son can say already and how he engages in imaginative play at such a young age.
Sweetness Camp provides an excellent, caring, educational enviroment for young children and should be your first call when considering childcare on the Isle of Dogs.

Our son has been with Jane since late February 2024, and we genuinely think we couldn't have found better childcare.
Prior to finding her, we had visited a few nurseries and childminders. The moment we met her, we knew we wanted her to look after our son.
Jane and the team are wonderful. They truly care about the kids and do great things with them from a developmental and educational perspective without forgetting about the fun!
We have total peace of mind when leaving our son with them, and he enjoys the time he spends with them.
We would recommend Sweetness Camp to anyone looking for childcare!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Jane and Sweetness Camp! From the moment our daughter, who was just 11 months old at the time, joined the camp, we felt an instant connection with Jane and her amazing team.
Their warmth and dedication made the transition so smooth for us, and it quickly became evident that our daughter was in the best hands.
Jane, Jenn and Maryori's care and attention have been truly exceptional, and we couldn’t recommend more highly!

Jane is an outstanding childcare professional, with many years of experience. She truly cares about children’s needs and development. I feel my son is well cared for and very happy with her. He is also eating almost everything there, even though he’s a picky eater at home.
I fully trust her and I’m grateful for taking such a good care of Alex. She is proactive and thinks out of the box when it comes to children’s needs.
Also important to note, she focuses in preparing them for school and her food is healthy, with a good variety.
Initially, I had planned to take Alex to another nursery, but then I heard such good things about Jane from other mums and thought to change. I’m so glad I did.

I cannot express enough how delighted we are with Jane and her childcare. Our first encounter with Jane in November 2022 left an indelible impression. From the very beginning, it was evident that her warmth and the environment she provided were precisely what we were seeking for our 17-month-old daughter, Anaisha.
Anaisha had initially proven to be quite a challenge to settle in. She wouldn't eat and had difficulty sleeping. However, Jane and her dedicated team went above and beyond to ensure that Anaisha felt loved and cared for, never left out. Their unwavering commitment was remarkable.
Jane and her team employed a variety of techniques to encourage Anaisha to eat and feel welcome amongst her peers. Gradually, Anaisha began to adapt and soon she was all settled. Our dream of her attending daycare with excitement has become a daily reality as she eagerly looks forward to go to Jane and her team.
What truly sets Jane apart is the way she engages the children in a multitude of activities. It's a joy to watch. From doing learning activities, picnics to outdoor play, Jane ensures that the children not only learn but also have a blast while doing so. They learn valuable lessons in play and sharing with their peers.
Furthermore, the meals provided by Jane are both nutritious and delectable, a combination that puts our minds at ease as parents.
In conclusion, we are exceptionally satisfied with Jane and her team and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional childcare. Our daughter has been with Jane since she was 6 month old! And frankly what a relief when we found her. We immediately felt a connection between Jane and our baby and also we were so aligned. Our daughter was welcomed by the Sweetness Camp team as if she was a new addition to their family, so reassuring! Jane and her team provide a friendly and safe environment for the children, Jane cooks healthy food, teaches them good habits and manners. She is doing a wonderful job, giving them the structure they need, teaching them so much on all levels and keeping them entertained with lots of creative activities and outings. When you see all the kids play together, you can see they are all happy to be there and they have created a real bond all together.
Jane has really been able to create a friendly environment between her team, the children and the parents as well, which is rare. She is always providing us with great advice and guidance whenever we need it. We feel good being able to have access to a professional like her.
We would definitely recommend her 100%!

Jane and her team have many brilliant ideas to enrich my kid's life and help him learn new things. They gave him love and helped him achieve many milestones, making him a happy, confident, and independent child.
He had lots of beautiful memories and made great friends at Jane's.

My little one is with Jane since he was not even 7 months, I am so happy to have found her.
She Just gave us that peace of mind that everyone would like to have and she made us part of his daily adventures.
Jane provides not just a friendly and safe environment but healthy food and plenty of activities during the day.
They love our Edoardo and you can see with your eyes that all the babies are happy to spend time with them.

My daughter has been going to Jane since she was 11 months and we are so happy and grateful to her for instilling the right values in our daughter. My daughter loves the dance class, yoga sessions , art classes . They do lots of interesting outings including museum trips and the exposure is invaluable. As parents, we are kept up to date with the child's routine and how they are interacting and developing. The older kids are kind and caring with the younger ones and they all get together quite well.
I trust any advice I receive from Jane and she has always been accomodative to our requests. We would highly recommend Sweetness camp and Jane's strong team ,Cristina and Maryori and consider ourselves lucky to know her.

Our son has been with Jane and her team since 17 months old, and it has been almost one year. We feel so lucky that we found them.
Jane is a very experienced and attentive childminder. More importantly, she and her team have a passion for what they do and always go the extra mile. Even during pandemics, they are still very well managed, maintaining high-quality childcare, providing a warm and safe environment for our little one. We can go to work with total peace of mind. We know how happy our son is and how much he has learned.
To name a few things that impressed us:
- A warm environment with lots of fun and love. At here, our son can always be dancing, singing, laughing, and playing with his favourite toys.
- Tons of creative indoor and outdoor activities. Excellent handwork, cooking, museums, parks, garden work, birthday parties, etc.
- Tasty and freshly made food. Our picky eater can always eat them all and ask for more!
- My son's nap requirement is always met, and I know Jane would make sure he has a good rest.
- Great communications. Daily updates, parents evenings, Christmas parties, etc. The bonds we built make us feel they are both our childminders and trustworthy friends.
- They help build good habits for our son. Self-feeding, brushing teeth, tidying house and toys, etc.
- Most importantly, our son loves going to Jane's, and he's also made great friends.
We would 100% recommend Sweetness Camp. Many thanks to Jane, Jennifer, Maryori, and Cristina. You are all our superheroes!

My son has been with Jane and her team since he was 10 months old, and is now almost 3. She was the first childminder we enquired about, but we knew we didn't need to look any further. My son loves going, and has made some great friends too. He's learnt so much through song, dance and play with Jane and her team. They regularly take the kids out on day trips (pre-pandemic), to the park or even just playing in the garden. Through the pandemic, communication and precautions have been great, and Jane's team have helped give my boy a sense or normality and routine. Their meals are freshly prepared and my son's dietary preferences (vegan) are always considered, which has been a huge relief!
We've definitely felt very fortunate to have found such a reliable, trustworthy and quality childminder, I can't recommend her enough!

I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder and team to look after my daughter.
Zara started at Sweetness camp 1 week after she turned 1 year, she will be turning 4 in a couple of weeks, now.
Sweetness Camp is her house away from home, handing your child to someone you just meet is scary and I am glad I have visit Sweetness camp and I knew from the 1st moment it was the right fit for my daughter.
Getting pictures in the 1st few months sent by Jane showing what she was up to did put me more at ease, seeing Zara trust the team and growing. From 1st steps, to potty training, forming sentences, knowing her shapes, colours, numbers, ABC every day at the hands of Sweetness Camp she returns knowing something new.
I can’t brag enough that my child has the best childminder and team any parent can wish, they are caring, attentive, supportive, fresh food cooked daily, providing a wide range of development activities outdoors and indoors they always go the extra mile, i strongly recommend them to any parent.
When I take Zara in the morning I know that she is in good care, she is entrusted two Sweetness Camp with the same ease I would entrust Zara to any family member and Zara looks at Jane Mayori and Cristina as such, 5 * is not enough to rate what they provide.
Keep being an excellent team and helping our children develop and excel.

Our daughter started with Jane, Maryori and Christina at the Sweetness Camp when she was 3 months old. Jane and her team are taking such good care of her, we couldn’t be happier. Our daughter learns new things every day, from new words to new songs, facts about animals, countries...they also do a lot of activities outside, such as nursery rhymes at the library, walks in the neighborhood, museums, farms... she is having lots of fun. I trust Jane and her team to make the best decisions for my daughter, they care about her like if she was their own daughter :) I have a total piece of mind that she is loved and safe, which are the most important things for her development! We also have daily reports on how the day went. When I talk to friends about everything my daughter is doing now at the Sweetness Camp, I realise that it’s a blessing to have my daughter there, not all childminders are as great!

Its been almost a year since our little one joined the magic world of Jane and team. We can't be more happy with the choice we've made.
You can notice since you enter the house the loving environment, how kids have great fun and learn.
So many things and activities they do, indoor and outdoor! painting, cooking, dancing, singing, messy play, museum, parks, and so many other things!
We both go to work with the peace of mind knowing our little one is on the best hands.
Great communication with parents, we know about her adventures and achievements on a daily basis.
I recommend 100% Jane and team. They love what they do, and kids love them.

My daughter has been with Jane since she was 15 months old and we honestly could not ask for a better childminder, nursery, and friend! It took Nylah next to no time to settle in and Jane made us both feel at ease right from the start. I have seen my little girl progress so much since she's been with Jane and I put it down to the level of care and attention she receives. She's often come home spouting all the things she's learnt: days of the week; the months; what the weather's like and highly impressive dance skills too.
Jane and her team go above and beyond when it comes to childcare so here are just some of the highlights, albeit not all, because there are just too many to list:
- Great communication: I get regular updates on my daughter's daily activities and progress
- we also attend parents' evenings and also parties where they've even put on a show!
- Good balance of activities: the kids get 'one on one' time as well as group play, they have regular activities outside as well as indoors
- The food always smells delicious and is freshly made
- Jane is helping with toilet training and we love her so much for that
- They even helped with constipation problems (TMI I know, but when it comes to little ones, I'm so thankful to have an extra pair of loving hands)
- and the biggest for me is that our little one absolutely loves going to Jane's
Jane is very experienced and I could not recommend her enough. Jane, Marjorie and the team are our superheroes and if you are looking for a childminder slash nursery in this area we look forward to welcoming you to the 'Jane community'!

We looked at different options when looking for a childcare for our son. I found Jane through this app, reading the amazing reviews. And when we met Jane, I understood why everyone was so happy. We knew we found the perfect place.
Our 1 year boy has been with Jane and her team for 5 months now and I can say we've made the right choice! He is so happy to go there, the team is amazing with him. We work as a team to have the same rules and rhythms at home and at the nursery. They do a great job.
When I hear other friends talking about their childcare, I am so glad we chose Jane!! We are moving and didn't want our son to go somewhere else so we focused our research around her. That's how Jane and her team have been so important for us in just 5 months!
I couldn't recommend the Sweetness camp hard enough.
Thanks guys for taking such a good care of our little one.

I've visited many nurseries / childminders before I found Jane's Sweetness Camp. The moment I stepped through the door I knew THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE for my daughter. Amazing energy, great atmosphere, big smile on everyone's face, lot's of space and many different toys for kids - i had no doubt my daughter will have so much fun in there! She was going through a little 'separation anxiety' phase at the beginning, but after few days she was perfectly fine, she made friends and she totally loved her new nursery. 🙂 It's been already few months since Sophie started attending Sweetness Camp and I can tell she is developing really quick in there, she is learning how to be tidy and how to share stuff with others, how to cooperate in the group of kids, how to make friends and even...how to eat properly ( she is such a fussy eater at home, but in the nursery she eats like crazy! 😉 ) and also - I'm sure she is getting so much love and attention from everyone, because she simply comes back home HAPPY, tidy (and never hungry)! 😉 I can definitely recommend Jane's ( and her team) services to everyone. It's a great balanced place - lots of fun but also discipline! Also - the rooms/toys are modern and clean (!) and Jane is extremely easygoing and chilled out person. I love the personality of everyone who works there, therefore I'm not worried of my daughter..I just know she is in a good hands and i hope to continue our cooperation for many more months!🙂 Thank you!

we are happy to have Sophia in our Sweetness Camp family, she is a pleasure to look after.
Jayne sweetness camp is an excellent place “my daughter Kiara felt like home”. We looked quite a few places around Canary wharf area and the experience was horrific with other childminders until we walked into Sweetness Camp and felt right. Me being a first time mom was very confident in dropping Kiara to Jane as we knew she was more than a mom to her and more than a friend to us. Jane has a Nursery like set up with play area, planned activities for the kids, weekly learning activities like painting, reading, writing, dancing, baking, etc. She also has weekly menu planned keeping my daughter’s dietary requirements in mind. Jane and her assistant childminders (Maryori and Ellie) have also played a very key role in caring for my daughter and providing individual attention and care. It’s good 3 years well spent with very good memories.
We strongly recommend Sweetness camp to other parents and you will never be disappointed.

Kiara is and will always be part of our family. We wish her all the very best in her new school.
When we found Jane, our son had been attending a nursery but it was not the right setting for us. We started investigating other options and found various contacts of childminders. Jane was the last one we met, and we instantly felt a connection. From what she was describing of her approach and from her warm welcome, we knew it was the place we were looking for … and it has exceeded our expectations!
Jane and her team are amazing with children, we can see and feel that our son is loved, cared for, entertained, educated, and he enjoys going there so much!
They take him and the other children to a lot of various activities like play groups, farm, walk by the river, etc, and they also do various activities adapted to their age, like in the case of our son who is almost 2 years old : art/ craft/ cooking activities, playing musical instruments, singing, reading stories, learning shapes, how to count, days of the week, etc. He is also benefiting from activities done with older kids. We are also so happy that she has got a proper garden with toys that our son can enjoy during sunny days and this makes such a difference.
Our son interacts with children who are his age, a bit younger and a bit older, so he gets a wide array of interactions that also foster his development.
We were also looking for a multicultural environment, and this could not be better! We speak French, Spanish and English at home and at Jane’s he is spoken to in English and Spanish and plays with children from a wide range of nationalities.
Every day we can see progress, and what we appreciate very much is that Jane sends us short videos / photos of his activities, so in addition to the daily diary book we maintain with her, we have also visuals, for instance pictures of him feeding the ducks, watering the plants (in Summer), playing with cars in the garden, cuddling the dog, and more recently we received a video of him counting from 1 to 10 in English, in front of one of Jane’s numerical boards. This is priceless!
One of the other benefits that we noticed since our son started going to Jane’s (it’s been 7 months now) is that he has now settled into a rhythm of eating at regular times, sleeping for a nap at regular times and because he is so active (mentally and physically) during the day, he got recently into a sleeping pattern at night whereby he sleeps through the night most of the times, which is such life changing for us as he used to wake up several times during the night.
What was also of paramount importance for us was that he would be fed home-made, healthy food and snacks, which is the case. Jane is very open to our specific requirements, and makes sure they are fulfilled, we trust her very much.
We could go on and on about all the benefits of her childminding settings, we could not have found a better place and better people to look after and love our baby boy and we would without hesitation warmly recommend her to all parents!

We love having baby with us, and working with you guys is a pleasure.
Jane and her wonderful staff have been child minding my son Giovanni since December 2016 (he was 13 months then), and she looks after him full time 5 days a week. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care my little boy is receiving, and the great progress he has made whilst in Jane’s care.
Jane’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Giovanni has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this though, it is Jane’s warm and friendly approach that has really struck me since the very beginning. First time I met her, visited her house, met her wonderful family, I knew Giovanni was going to be loved like any other member of the family. And that was exactly what I was looking after: a warm, happy and loving family environment, because this is all a baby really need at the end of the day – love.
She provides a fun range of activities including panting, baking, singing, drawing as well as outings to the park, trips to feed the ducks and walks. Last week he decorated a card to give to mummy for Mather’s Day!
Jane is a fantastic communicator and has no trouble in gaining Giovanni’s confidence and therefore encouraging good behavior and kindness and compassion to others, both skills which are important to us at home. When he’s feeling poorly I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety. I know baby will be well looked after, so I can spend my working day without worrying, this is essential as a working parent.
She also does provide healthy snacks and mouth-watering meals, always cooked fresh. Sometime when I pick him up at night she entertains parents with scones and cream (all homemade!) which I find amazing! A godsend after an hard day at work! What a treat!
Jane completes a diary detailing what my baby has done each day. From this I have a complete picture of his whole day including what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities.
I personally couldn’t be happier with the level of care my baby receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping him develop into a confident and self-assured little boy.
I would A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y recommend Jane as a great and reliable childminder.

Absolutely amazing accurately describes Jane and her team! I am so glad that i found sweetness camp. My son has been attending Sweetness camp for 7 months now and I can't think of a better place for him to be after school and during the holidays. Jane truly creates a home away from home and treats the children like her own. She is friendly, professional, punctual, caring and provides an outstanding setting for children.
Jane and her team have set routines to allow children to thrive and arrange lots of activities to keep the children busy including literacy, baking, arts & crafts, trips.
I am so thankful and grateful to Jane and team for all they do for my son!

It would be absolutely wrong for me to use " childminder" word for Jayne .
She is more like a family now to me . My little one reyaansh went to Sweetness camp for almost 3 years and Jayne has done a wonderful job . He always looked forward to visit her and Jayne gives proper attention right from feeding them on time , taking them out for activities , teaching them numbers & English !
Absolute 5 stars to her . Reyaansh misses sweetness camp :(

It is with deep regret that we have to leave Jane as we are moving away - she was the perfect childminder in every imaginable way! She and her assistant Paige represent everything you are looking for in a childminder – providing outstanding childcare, looking after the kids as if they were their own, going on excursions, cooking tasty meals and all this in a loving, caring and fun environment. They were like second mums to my little son. My son came to Jane when he was only 11 months old (he went there fulltime for 1.5 years) and I must say that was one of the best decisions I could have possible made. I saw a lot of childminders in the area but was instantly taken by Jane and her kindness. Right from the start my son was extremely happy at Camp Sweetness so that every day I could go to work with my mind in peace knowing that my son is looked after so well. Furthermore, since English was not his first language Jane encouraged his development of the English language to such an extent that I can now quite confidently say that my son is bilingual. When he fell sick or something else didn’t seem to be right she was sometimes even taking him to the GP around the corner which was exceptional. My son blossomed and thrived in Camp Sweetness and improved not only his social skills when it comes to sharing and caring for each other but she also strongly encouraged his educational development so that sometimes I was stunned by the big steps he made. Dear Jane, what can I say: Thank you sooo much for everything!

I am going to miss you and my little man, we promise to come and visit as soon as you settle.
Wishing you all the best in your new home.
Many of us are looking for that place our children love to.come and possible not want to come home. Eurika I am happy to say my children aged 6, 7 and 1 love coming to Sweetness Camp. Miss Sweetness as I call her has managed capture my childens hearts. The house is always clean and tidy, there is an abundance of toys and the girls are always bring home arty/creative things. They get to cook and bake go on trips. Recently the science museum. The weekly menu the children have I cannot fault and I usually get the odd comment stating why isn't my cooking as good as Miss Sweetness.
The baby has been going since the beginning of August 2014 and he loves loves loves going. He has become so independent, and confident. And he is been taught new words every week. Miss Sweetness has my respect and gratitude as she endivers to encourages my children to do there best and she is able to identify with me as a lone parent the trials and tribulations that come with the terrority.
