About Me
I am 36 years old and started working as a child-minder in November 2011.
I love being outdoors, reading and swimming and find working with children very rewarding.
I moved into my own house June 2011 and I had my first registration inspection in October. Our most recent inspection was July 2019 where we received our first Outstanding rating.
At the moment we have spaces on Mondays and Tuesdays but we are likely to have more spaces from October this year. Please message us for details.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a nursery room manager for three years and have had previous experience as a nursery nurse in two nurseries.
I have worked in nurseries for six years and have a lot of experience with young children and especially babies (0-2 years)
So far I have been looking after children between the ages of 0-8 and have been really enjoying it. The children attend many groups during the week and they all get on so well.
We run a family business with myself and my husband Matt ( also a fully qualified childminder) working together to create a fun filled environment for the children to learn.
My Qualifications
12 A-C GCSE's
3 A-levels
Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Health Studies
I also have an up to date CRB and Paediatric First aid.
Whilst working with the nursery team I have also acquired certificates for attending courses such as Safeguarding children, Fire Marshall training, EYFS training and many more.
My Availability
I work five days a week Monday to Friday and I am open from 7.30 until 6 pm. I am no more than a ten minute walk from Romford station and it is easily accessible from Roneo Corner Tesco route also.
School pick ups from Hylands Primary for £5.50 an hour and an extra £1.50 for an evening meal at 4.45pm.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Individual circumstances will be taken into account please contact me by email if you have any inquiries.
Fees for child-minding will roughly be £50, this includes all snacks and meals. All allergies and dietary needs will be catered for but may incur additional fees.
Brothers and sisters will be able to receive a discount up until school ages.

Our son was with Rachel and Matt for over a year, and we only had to leave as we were moving out of the area. I cannot recommend them enough! The setting is like a home-from-home, and you feel part of the family. Communication is excellent. A lot of the children have been there for a very long time too, which is a testament to the care they provide. Rachel and Matt are thoughtful and caring with the children. They have a structured day, with lots of garden time and free play time. My son really developed when he was there and learnt loads of new words and skills. Rachel went above and beyond in supporting us through my son's medical issues, and I couldn't thank her enough for the wonderful care she provided for my son! Highly recommended

Rachel & Matt started looking after my son from 18 months (he is now coming up for 4) and my daughter from 9 months (she is nearly 2). I couldn't have asked for a more excellent environment for my children. They love going everyday and always have things they want to tell and show Matt and Rachel. My son has learnt so much and is currently enjoying numbers. My little girl has grown up and learning so much more than I could have imagined. Rachel and Matt provide healthy meals and snacks. They encourage learning as well as play time. My kids enjoy film nights, baking, playgroups, trips out to the park, soft play and outings for learning activities. They are very organised and there is app where they upload what they have done that day, eaten etc. I know leaving your kids with someone else while you're at work can be very difficult but I have never had to worry. Rachel and Matt are extremely open, approachable and willing to help and go that extra mile to make sure your child is safe and feels at home. Their home is very clean and there are lots of things for the kids to do. My kids are always coming home with things they have made or telling me what they have learnt. If you need a childminder please go and see Rachel and Matt. I can't recommend them highly enough and I am so grateful that I managed to find them. My kids couldn't be happier and neither could me and my husband
