Fantastic!

My 5 year old son goes to Nickynoo’s 3x week after school, previously going 2x afternoons per week before starting school. He has always loved going and spending time with Nicky and Terry, it is always difficult to get him to leave at home time!
Nicky is always kind, patient and attentive to our son, ensuring boundaries and safety are maintained at all times.
She provides home cooked meals and excellent fun and educational play experiences. She has supported our son’s educational progress throughout his time with her, practising phonics and reading, providing craft and art activities and working alongside school towards targets.
Nicky always provides us with feedback at the end of each session so we always know what he has eaten, the activities he has been involved in and whether he has been to the toilet. She also shows me photographs of him enjoying activities which is lovely to see!
Nicky has been very supportive to us as parents, often stepping in if we need an extra session due to work commitments.
We can’t recommend her highly enough, we don’t know what we would do without her!!

Amazing

Nicky has my daughter in the school holidays. My daughter is 7 years old and diagnosed with autism, adhd, global developmental delay, sensory processing disorder and a learning disability. Nicky is amazing with her, has brilliant understanding of her needs and is able to cater for every aspect when she is not herself. I cant recommend her enough, she is the most genuine and loveliest person you'll ever meet. Her understanding and knowledge of SEN is fantastic and how she learns my little girl using different techniques and has the patience of a saint!!!!

Amazing Lady

My son has been going to Nickys since the start of this school year. I was lucky she had some space. My niece and nephew have been going for years so I knew how great she was from them.

He settled in straight away, it was like he had always been going.

My son loves every minute he's at Nickys, he eats everything she makes him. Her garden is amazing. They do so many different activities.

It gives me piece of mind him being at Nickys while I am at work. If my son could I think he would go everyday, he loves it that much.

Nicky always goes above and beyond!

I'm so grateful to have found such warm, enthusiastic and kind childminders in Nicky and Terry. Nicky has provided my children with great hospitality throughout their primary school years; they always enjoy it and have nothing but praise for them both. Nicky gets to know the children and their interests, so everything is clearly considered and personalised to them as young individuals. Whether it's ensuring they get their favourite breakfasts, snacks or meals or ensuring they do their favourite activities. She goes above and beyond in making them feel content and welcome, the care received is outstanding and we'll all be extremely sad once primary is over. Terry and Nicky have helped with practising spellings, homework, tasks, and all kinds of learning. Many times they have returned home so eager to show/tell me what they have been taught. I have two very clever kids and they have helped them tremendously. Nicky and Terry are extremely professional and communicate with me about everything I need to know. I would highly recommend them to anyone who requires a top-notch childminding service in the area.
Their home is so nicely set out for the role, she provides them with new things to do regularly, it's certainly never boring! In the warmer months her garden is amazing for the kids, so beautifully kept and so much to do. Often when I've collected them she has set up fun outdoor ganes which has been hard to tear them away from. :)
As a mother I need to know my children are safe. Their home and her ways of working ensure they are always in the best environment. She creates a perfect atmosphere for all the children who I know thrive from her positivity.

excellent service

I have been using Nicky since the start of this school year. All my children enjoy going there and they are constantly telling me what they have done whist there and that they cant wait to go back.

Nicky is a friendly person and really approachable, she is also flexible which helps me out with me travelling from work from Sheffield.

The children get home cooked meals everyday which again is helpful with me being a single dad and not getting in till late. The setting is small and homely and all the children there gets equal attention and nobody is left out as they do crafts and games.

I would recommend Nicky to anybody!!!

Very professional. A fantastic childminder.

My son has been going to nickys, for a number of months now. He is always excited to go & never wants to come home! Nicky goes above and beyond with all the children helping with homework and practicing anything there struggling with at school. Nicky interacts with my sons school and is interested in helping him learn. I am extremely happy with the service she provides and would recommend to anyone. Leaving your child with someone is very unnerving. But I am confident he is safe and looked after at nickynoos.
