About Me
Hi! My name is Lisa and I live in Capel St Mary with my husband Richard and our 2 boys aged 1 and 7 years old. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have worked in the childcare profession since leaving college as a private nanny and an early years teaching assistant.
I adore my job and feel very privileged to spend my time with the children I care for. I love planning exciting activities including craft, baking, messy and sensory play, and we often visit the farm, zoo, park, library, beach, woods, playgroup, music sessions and more on our outings. We love to be outside and explore our local community and environment.
This is all in order to provide a fun, varied and enriched learning experience for your child. The early years are crucial in a child's development. I follow the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and my aim is to provide a high quality curriculum for each and every child that attends my setting. In an environment that is inclusive, where your child will feel happy and safe.
My Experience
I have recently registered with Ofsted as a childminder, I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education at college and I was then a private nanny for 12 years and then I worked in a primary school as an Early Years teaching assistant and I'm a mum of two boys!
