About Me
My name is De- Lovell, I am a registered childminder in the Wyken district of Coventry. I have been a childminder for 25 years and still love my job. Last Ofsted Inspection was August 2018 and was graded a 'GOOD' . Before becoming a childminder I looked after children abroad then had my own children who are now grown and have children of their own. I live in a quite grove in wyken. I Offer a secure safe environment, provide appropriate resources and activities for children to learn at their own age stage and development, adapt activities for children with SEND. The back garden is safe and secure ensuring lots of fun , using their imagination and learning . As a childminder I like to take the children on outings, park, soft play areas join in with our local play groups. I am accredited to offer free entitlement funding for 2-3- and 4 year olds
My Experience
I have been childminding for 25 years and in that time cared for many children some still visit although they now attend university, they become extended members of our family.To provide a good,secure caring environment, I like to keep up with the changing Laws and Legislation set by Ofsted and the EYFs.
When my own children were smaller I became a' Snowie Owl' with the Brownies in the wyken area, its about 7 to 9 year old girls getting together each week, working towards badges, learning new skills, playing games, activities and having adventures, camping etc
Worked with reception children when on placement.
