My Experience

As I mentioned, i have been babysitting for friends and family for a number of years (references available on request)

Noahs' ark day nursery Jan 2007- June 2011

During my time at Noah's ark, I worked across all the ages from the 3 month old babies to the 5 year olds. I eventually became the room leader in the toddler room (1-2 year olds) in which there were 9 toddlers with 3 members of staff. My main responsibilities included providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment which met the differing needs of each child, recording children's progress through observations and developmental records, to develop and maintain effective professional relationships by liaising with parents and staff and to plan and organise daily activities for the children to further promote their learning and development.

Tara Kindergarten's June 2011- September 2011

My main duties included supervising the children ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times. Recording children's progress through observations. Liaising with parents and to plan and organise daily activities with other members of staff.

Inspirations Montessori nursery September 2011- 2021

I worked at Inspirations as room supervisor for 10 years, the children at Inspirations are between the ages of 2 and 5 years old. My main roles and responsibilities include to provide and maintain a safe, stimulating and happy environment in which children are able to have fun as well as being able to learn and develop effectively, to organise and plan activities to suit the children's age and stage of development, to work alongside my colleagues and parents creating positive relationships to ensure the needs of all the children in the setting are being met. And to generally take charge in the absence of the manager and deputy.

I am currently a Childminder for a 2 year old and have been since August 2021. He will be starting nursery in September.

My Qualifications

NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 3 in childcare and education.

Foundation degree in Early Years.

I am available full time.

I am also happy to do a nanny share which will allow you to spread the cost.

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
