About Me
Hi, my name is Jane. I have been childminding since 1993 and have been graded by Ofsted as Outstanding.
I live in a detached house in central Reigate, which I share with my husband Mark and our friendly cocker spaniel, Luka. I also have two grown up children, who now have homes of their own.
I offer a friendly and nurturing home from home environment where all the children I care for will be treated as an individual and can feel safe, cherished and welcomed as part of our extended family.
I provide children with a broad range of experiences with fun and creative activities both inside and outside of the home to enrich their learning. Inside, the children have a dedicated playroom which leads into the kitchen/diner where I prepare home cooked, nutritious meals and snacks.
Outside, I have a child friendly and secure decked area as well as a large garden with further toys and equipment with plenty of space for children to run around and explore. We also take regular trips to our local parks, woods and toddler groups. Soft play, farm visits and theatre trips are also enjoyed.
I believe in working as a trusted partner with families and welcome enquiries from parents with children aged from three months.
My Experience
As well as being a mum for some thirty-five years' and thirty years' experience as a childminder, I have a vast knowledge of looking after children and babies of all ages. I attend different courses and seminars including E learning to add to my skills and keep up to date with the latest requirements and aid me to further improve outcomes for children in my care.

Jane has been everything and more that we could ask for in a childminder, having looked after our daughter for three years, until she started school. Jane is warm, caring and enthusiastic, and we felt confident and happy leaving our daughter with her from day one. Her setting is lovely, and really felt like an extension of home to our daughter. We are sad that our time with her has come to an end now that school has started, but I feel so unbelievably grateful that our daughter had the time she did with her, helping her grow, learn and flourish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jane to anyone : )

My three children have all thrived and grown with Jane, and she has been a big part of our family's early learning journey for the past 8 years. From the first moment I met Jane, I knew she was the perfect person to look after my then 9 month old daughter. Her manner is nurturing, kind and reassuring. Her home setting is a home away from home: it is second to none with a play room full of educational delights, structured activities every day, daily fresh air walks and playgroups that kept all my children happy, stimulated and entertained. Jane offers healthy, home-cooked food (I'm often told mine isn't like Jane's!) and she works hard to ensure all the children in her care grow and learn in a happy environment. We are ever so sad that our youngest has left Jane's care and will miss the impact she has had on his development enormously.

Both my children were looked after by Jane when I went back to work. As soon as we met Jane and saw her setting we knew they would be happy there.
Jane goes above and beyond for the children she looks after and I was in no doubt they would be well cared for whilst I was gone.
They have enjoyed many outings and look always look forward to seeing what activities they would be doing that day.
Archie and Eva loved every minute they spent with Jane and would always count down the days until their next visit. They saw her as family in the end and will very much miss going to see ‘their Jane’.

I would highly recommend Jane for your childminding needs, everything gets 5 stars from us!
When my daughter turned 10 months, I decided to go back to work and I wasn't sure whether to send her to pre-school or try to find a childminder. Jane made my decision easy, as soon as I saw her setting and found out more about what she offered it was an obvious choice. Isabella developed so much in her 3 years with Jane and we have so many lovely memories. Jane made the whole process of my going back to work easy and I knew that I didn't need to worry. Isabella always loved her time with Jane and looked forward to her days there. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for child care, she really is the best.
