About Me

I am a 50 year old married mum. I have a 18 year old son called Jack and married to a wonderful man called Ian. I was a civil servant for 16 years before having Jack then when I was due back at work I realized I wanted to stay at home with Jack so I became a childminder so I could help out other parents who have to go back to work. I know how important it is to make sure that you leave your children with reliable people which is why I am advertising my services "Little Angels" as it is the only place where you can leave your little angels knowing they are in safe hands.

My Experience

I have been a mum to Jack for 18 years.

I have been fully registered as a childminder since January 2008 and have been looking after other children as well as Jack since June 2008.

At my first OFSTED inspection I gained a "GOOD" marking which my inspector told me was excellent for only 1 years experience.

I have looked after children including my own ranging from 4 months old to 10 years

References can be seen from parents of children that I have and do care for.

I have recently had my second inspection and received a "strong good with some outstanding areas"

My third inspection was also a "good" rating

My Qualifications

Fully OFSTED registered and completed the 5 workshops that were required pre EYFS

I have a certificate in Paediatric First Aid

I have completed a small business course.

I have a certificate in Safeguarding Children.

I have passed my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.

I have a Food Hygiene Certificate.

I have completed training on the new EYFS framework

I have completed a Common Childhood Illnesses course

I have completed a Level 2 Teaching Assistant course

I have completed a Children's Mental Health course

I have completed a course on Safeguarding, Prevent and Online safety

I can provide the Free Early Years Entitlement for 9 months, 2 year olds and the Free Early Years Entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds.

I have SEN experience

My Availability

I am available Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm

I offer full time, part time and term time care.

I will also cater for shift patterns and/or unusual hours after discussion with parents.

Simply Brilliant you won't find better

Sarah is an absolutely lovely lady who gives off an aura of love and attentiveness.
My little lady came to Sarah, albeit for a shorter period than we hoped for as we moved down the country.
We were very impressed by the care our little lady got. She went to music classes, she went to play rooms and every time we picked her up she was knackered which was a huge bonus, as she slept so much better.
We were given a photo book, daily updates via WhatsApp and Sarah took our little one before the school run so we could get back to work.
The price for the childcare is as fair as it could be, I could not believe how low the cost was for such a high quality of care.
Please consider Sarah as she is brilliant and your little one will be in safe caring hands!
