About Me
I am a registered childminder in the Ballymena area with extended registration. I have a dedicated nursery area within my home. I work alongside my assistant and together we provide care for children 0-12 yrs. I understand fully the need for a parent to feel confident and at ease with their childcare setting. Therefore I strive to create a home from home environment where children will benefit in terms of their social, emotional and and intellectual development. Along with the need for a child to feel safe and cared for it is important to me that I offer flexibility to working parents as all situations differ.
My Experience
After taking my redundancy as an account manager from a large company 10 years ago I started my childminding business. During this time I have had the pleasure of caring for babies, toddlers and school age children.
My Qualifications
Bsc Hons degree in Sociology from the University of Ulster along with a recently completed teaching certificate.
As I am registered under the Northern Health and Social Care trust I am required to hold valid certificates in first aid, child protection and health and safely training.
My Availability
I currently have full and part time places available.
