Hi, I am available for work during school holiday time. I can also babysit for local families at weekends or during evenings.
I am fully qualified in Childcare, Learning and Education with up-to-date First Aid training, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and I am DBS checked.
I have 18 years of full-time experience working in childcare and education roles.
I currently work in a Primary School as a specialist Dyslexia / Literacy Teacher and provide Speech and Language Support for children of all Primary school age. I have previously taught EYFS/ Reception classes for many years.
I have worked in a local school setting for 10 years. I have previously worked as a Nursery Nurse, Creche lead, Ofsted Registered Private/ Professional Nanny, EYFS and KS1 Tutor and many babysitting jobs for local families (BR6) throughout my career.
I enjoy teaching and caring for children of all ages. I have a polite, kind, fun and friendly personality, children tend to really enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs! :) I am very professional, active, independent, reliable and I have excellent references throughout my childcare and education career, which I am more than happy to share :)

Rachel is very reliable, helpful, responsible and organised and comes with a lot of experience.
She looked after my 11 and 5 Year old on weekend. I texted her only one week before the day i wanted her to take care of kids & she replied within few hours.
She arrived promptly on both days and brought many books/games for my girl & Rachel did lot of activities with her including craft activities, play board games & taking my kids to the park. My both kids liked her a lot. I would highly recommend her. I would absolutely ask Rachel back to look after my kids.

Rachel and my 2-year-old daughter got on immediately - it was quite remarkable to watch how Rachel put her at ease the moment they met. We found Rachel when our regular childminder was unavailable for a couple of weeks, so used her often over the course of about 10 days. Our daughter was extremely happy - her face lit up at the mention of Rachel, who managed to keep her really occupied and stimulated so she slept brilliantly after their time together. As her parents, we were very impressed with Rachel’s professionalism and we were very confident leaving our daughter in her care. Rachel was always extremely punctual, and her communication with us was exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Rachel, and very much hope she will be able to look after our children in the future.

Rachel is very kind, caring, positive, professional and my daughter really loves spending time with her! I highly recommend Rachel as a babysitter/ nanny for any families who wish for a lovely child professional. My daughter is very shy with new people usually, but she took to Rachel straight away! And there is a very close bond there now. I really liked how Rachel created fun and also education activities for my daughter, which has also helped her to blossom during her first year at school. I feel very confident leaving my little one under Rachel's care.
