About Me
I’m a recognised doula and very experienced maternity nurse as well as a level 3 qualified nanny. If you are looking for a warm, nurturing nanny, look no further!
Because I am a recognised doula, if you have carrot insurance, you may get help with paying for my services for the first 6 weeks post natal care (days or nights)
I consider myself to be a caring and confident person who is sympathetic to the needs of babies, children and their family. I am hard working, trustworthy and conscientious in my work. Having worked with various age groups and at different levels of caring, I am able to provide families with a happy, secure environment for the benefit of all.
I love animals too so am more than happy to help with their care if needed including walking (friendly) family dogs
I am not available for wrap around care or after school only hours. I only offer childcare, not housekeeping
My Experience
I have over 30 years of childcare experience, mostly as a sole charge maternity nurse/doula and nanny.
I also have up to date (12 hour) paediatric first aid training, child protection training, a CRB/DBS and of course fantastic refs.
I am a non smoker and live in St Albans, Herts with my children
My car is fully insured for business use

My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
Day nanny rate starts from £18 an hour gross for employed roles or £22 for self employed roles
Maternity nights starts from £26 an hour gross for singles and £37.50 for multiples

From the very first meeting with Paula and Gary, i felt not only comfortable with them but also totally confident that our son (who is 6 months old) would be looked after and cared for to the highest standard. They are not only very caring towards our son and their other charges in a lovely homely environment, but very willing to work with us as parents to make sure that our son settles in well and is happy and healthy.

Paula and Gary have provided us with emergency childcare for our two boys (age 2 and 4) on a number of occasions. They are both kind, caring, and very good with our boys, who were immediately happy in their lovely family home. I would highly recommend them.
