About Me
I am married with grown up children of my own I live in the Martinswood area of Stevenage right outside martinswood school I have a large 4 bedroomed house and offer a seperate playroom purely for childminding this leads via patio doors to the garden and is situated next to the kitchen so children are within my view at all times
My daughter in law works as my assistant
My Experience
I provide various acitivities and outings as well as visitng various groups. I regularly meet up with other minders and we provide a wide range of crafts and activities this includes themed lunches and celebrations of various festivals I have excellent references from previous parents I regularly attend various courses and network evenings to keep my knowledge of childcare up to date.I am very flexible and have worked with parents who work shifts (ie police & nursing staff).
Have experience in looking after Down’s syndrome and collaborating with health care professionals to enable development.

My son has been going to Lisa every week for nearly four months and he absolutely loves it. She provides excellent care and are always taking the children out to do things even in the current circumstances. Lisa and Billie also do a lot of indoor activities too that really has bought my son out of his shell and he thoroughly enjoys being there. Lisa is always quick to contact me should there be any problems and my son being vegetarian, has provided great food alternatives for him. Would definitely recommend Lisa.

From first meeting Lisa at her house before going ahead with my daughters care, I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable to put my daughter in Lisa’s care.
Lisa is such a lovely lady with a heart of gold and a real passion for looking after children.
There was always a different variety of activities for them to do and also visits to various places. Parks, walks, toddler groups and many more.
My daughter has always been very shy and struggles massively to socially interact with others. Lisa was absolutely brilliant with her, and persevered with her and even managed to get her to join in activities. Lisa has helped build my daughters confidence considerably.
If it was not for all Lisa’s help I do not think she would of settled in her new setting the way she did, or be the way she is today.
Lisa was fun, caring, trustworthy and all in all just lovely. I had a great experience and would definately recommend to everyone.

Lisa is a wonderful childminder. She is friendly and fun, and my daughter absolutely adores her. She has a varied and interesting range of activities and toys and a lovely private garden where the children can play. She has two little dogs which are great with kids, my daughter was petrified of dogs when she first started but with Lisa's love and patience she is now totally comfortable with them.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Lisa to anyone.

Our son went to Lisa's for 2 years and he had fantastic time. Lisa worked with other local minders and they had exciting activities like crafts, cooking, going out to beach etc. etc.. She encouraged Chris to say some basic words in Japanese (as he is half Japanese) which I really appreciated. Lisa's family is all lovely and her teenager children are so nice to little ones. Great childminder!
