PLEASE NOTE:
Unfortunately, I can not accommodate school wrap around care.
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since May 2011. I live in Hednesford with my husband and 2 grown-up children. NEW for September 2020 - I have a designated play room with direct access to a safe garden area.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. For many years, I was a nanny. This job has taken me around the country and abroad to Switzerland and the USA. This has given me the experience with children of all ages, including new borns.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Cache level 3 diploma. Paediatric first aid and saveguarding courses, together with various other CPD courses.
My Availability
PLEASE NOTE: With the new 15-hour funding coming into action from April 2024 for 2 year olds, the minimum number of days required will be 2 days. I work Monday to Thursday - hours to suit. For guidence 7.30am - 5.30pm with a minimum of 7 hours per day.

My daughter has been going since she was 11 months and absolutely loves going, a year on and she gets very excited about going in the morning and even on days when she’s not there she tells us that’s where she wants to go.
I would recommend Caroline to anyone, also informative and friendly and her daily messages when she started really helped reassure me when going back to work that my daughter was having a wonderful time!

Our little girl has been going to Caroline's since she was 8 months old, and she absolutely loves it! As soon as we get out of the car and she realises where she is she is scrambling out of my arms to get to Caroline, and I barely get a backwards glance!
I knew from the moment I met Caroline that she was the childminder for us. She is both professional and friendly and has a lovely, clean setting for the children. Our daughter has learned a lot from being with Caroline and loves to come home showing off the new skills that she's learned. Things like waving, raspberries and new words have all came from being at Caroline's and the lovely play groups that they go to when she's there.
Caroline is a lovely lady, who has always been extremely accommodating and we are so lucky to have her as our childminder.

Caroline is truly an amazing childminder! She currently looks after my 10 month old daughter who adores her! I have to say my daughter is extremely well looked after and always comes home with a huge smile and showing certain skills she has learnt like tongue bobbing, blowing raspberries and even saying new words!
In the beginning I was a nervous first time mum however, Caroline put a settling in plan to action, prior to my daughter starting full time which worked brilliantly and my daughter settled in just perfectly! Now I ask myself why on earth I was so nervous! Caroline made it so easy and now we couldn’t imagine our working lives without her!
From the moment I met Caroline I knew she was the childminder for us! She was professional, thorough and so warm and friendly! All of her paperwork and qualifications are up to date and there for you to see, her setting is clean with plenty of engaging and stimulating activities for the children.
Our work day starts rather early, we struggled to find anyone who could meet those needs however, Caroline was willing to adjust her starting time to suit us therefore meaning our work schedule didn’t have to change! She is very flexible and fairly priced, considering all she does!
Caroline’s communication goes above and beyond my expectations. I have a run down of my daughters day which includes everything, even nappy changes! I also receive pictures throughout the day which is truly a delight and mind ease! Caroline communicates all the time and has even got my daughter to eat weetabix which she refuses for mummy! I was totally amazed!
The circumstances in the past six months have been tricky due to Covid-19, myself and partner went back to work rather quickly and full time and due to circumstances we couldn’t get grandparents to babysit. Caroline saved our day, she was available at the drop of a hat and even looked after my daughter on her days off! Without Caroline, we would not have been able to return to work so smoothly! We would have been truly lost!
I would recommend Caroline to anyone as she is truly amazing in every way I have not got anything negative to say or recommendations of improvement the service she provides is flawless!

Caroline is a fantastic childminder (and person!) and our daughter adores her. Our daughter started with Caroline at about 9 months old until she started Pre-School. Caroline worked out a plan to help her to settle in and from then on she was never anything other than very eager and enthusiastic to go, so much so that she still asks to go now, almost 6 months on! Always very clearly well looked after and engaged with while being cared for there, she loved all the different activities that they did, and Caroline was very good at keeping us informed about what they did and the progress she was making. Caroline is also flexible and accommodating when life throws up the unexpected, as it often does, and we could not recommend her more highly.

Caroline has been an exceptional childminder from the moment we first met her! We met with other Childminder’s in the area but felt most comfortable with Caroline and her setting. Our little boy has been with Caroline for over 18 months now and we’ve never had a problem and he loves going there. We will be sending our newborn to Caroline too in the future.

Caroline looked after my son from 9 months old until he started Reception when he was 4 - she is very accommodating with routines, teething, feeding and work commitments - I felt confident leaving my son with her and knew he was being well cared for. Caroline follows the Early Years Foundation Stages I had a daily booklet with his daily activities feeding drinking pooping and I had a folder full of weekly activities and observations covering personal, social and emotional development, physical development, communication and language, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive art and design. He made us birthday cards, Xmas cards and many personal items that we now cherish. Caroline is one of a few adults he trusts completely. It was very sad for us all to leave when he started school full time. Caroline is very active and likes taking the children out to do lots of outdoor activities which my son loved and he loved his time with Caroline.

We have used Caroline for 5 years, I have nothing but good feedback for her. She is flexible to accommodate working hours / changes in circumstances. The children are happy there and have lots of toys to play with. It's a relief to go to work knowing that my children are safe and well looked after! I would highly recommended anyone considering Caroline for childcare.

Caroline has been childminding my children for nearly 9 years! I was really sad to say goodbye when we no longer needed a child minder as Caroline has been a big part of my children’s lives.
She has been really reliable and flexible to meet our changing child care needs over the years. Caroline is really friendly and has a great rapport with children of all ages. Caroline communicates openly and honestly with parents. Caroline has a relaxed approach making children feel comfortable and confident in her care. I would highly recommended Caroline as a wonderful childminder.

Caroline has had both of my boys since the age of 9 months and both have thoroughly enjoyed their time with her. Caroline has always been more than fair on price and has often helped me out when I have been stuck. Caroline regularly takes my son to play groups which he loves and I get great feedback on how he is doing in regards meeting milestones. Upon reaching the time to leave both of my boys I was upset to do so but both have settled in so well. My youngest often doesn't even give me a kiss as he puts his arms out to go to Caroline when he sees her which tells me how happy he is and how much he enjoys being with Caroline aswell as feeling safe. Caroline has a great range of toys for all ages and a lovely selection for snack time. I highly recommend Caroline for anybody who is seeking a childminder who delivers a fantastic service.

My son has been going to Caroline for well over a year now. We were very nervous about using a childminder as some friends had a bad experience with another one. When we met Caroline she made us feel at ease and after talking with her and going round her home we felt more than happy to leave our son with her. She is very flexible which is quite important and we feel her rates quite reasonable, we are also very happy with how she has looked after my son, and he always lights up when we arrive on her driveway. We would without a doubt recommend Caroline to any others looking to find a childminder.
