About Me
I am an experienced OFSTED registered childminder having run my own childminding business since 2007 and I a, also a mum to 4 boys. I offer a home from home setting with garden and dedicated playroom. I work with a childminding assistant. We endeavour to take part in a variety of activities from soft play, toddler groups, park visits etc
We have 2 friendly dogs. Both my assistant and myself have all the necessary up to date training and certicates including Paedatric First Aid and safeguarding. I have an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I have been graded GOOD by OFSTED. I can also offer ADHOC school holiday care. Please contact me to discuss your childcare needs.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder for over 18 years, previous to this i was a stay at home mum. I have experience working with SEN children and have cared for a diabetic child for 7 years. Before having my own children I worked as a carer in local hospital.
My Qualifications
ICP, Paedatric first aid, Safeguarding and NVQ 3 in Childrens learning, development & play. Ongoing CPD
My Availability
I have avalaible spaces for full time and part time care whichever is suited best to your needs. I am very flexible and can work with whatever hours or days you need. I use the Government Funding Scheme also to help out with payment. I accept all funding age groups.

My daughter has been with Gemma for almost 3 years now and has loved every minute that she has spent with her, often she doesn't want to leave!
Gemma has a large play room and garden for her to play in which provides hours of entertainment.
Gemma does not provide meals however if my ever so fussy Angel refuses her lunch she will always ensure that she has something she will eat instead.
I would definitely recommend Gemma to be your childminder
