We chose to send my daughter to Clairs because the setting felt cosy and nurturing. Clair offers a home from home environment which was perfect to help my daughter gain confidence and resilience being away from myself. Clair offers a wide variety of free choice allowing the children to learn through play and exploring which was ideal for my little girl. The outdoor space was perfect because my daughter loves to spend time outside and burn off lots of excess energy. I use to enjoy the daily notes and photos uploaded which made me smile seeing how much fun my daughter was having whilst i was at work.

My daughter absolutely loved attending Clairs and even though she has now left for nursery, she often still speaks fondly of Clair asking to revisit. Thank you Clair for all your guidance, support and open communication making us feel at ease.

A home from home

We chose Clair's Childminding Service because after visiting other settings, Clair's house felt like a home away from home and both me and my son felt happy and at ease on our visit. My son has been with Clair for over 3 years now. The progress he has made since starting is very apparent, he loves his days at Clair's and always comes home very happy! My younger daughter has been with Clair 8 months now and I was initially worried as she is very close to me. She has done brilliantly and is gaining her confidence without me and I really feel this is down to Clair. She is so friendly and warm and makes the children feel at ease. I feel confident leaving them both in Clair's care and look forward to receiving notifications through the day and seeing notes and pictures of what they've been up to! Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the best

My daughter Alys has been looked after by Clair since she was 16 months old and is now about to leave her to start school in September. Clair and her daughter have done an absolutely fantastic job looking after my child for over three years. Clair as an experienced EYFS teacher brings the curriculum into her provision in every area and helps to bring children on as well as meeting their individual needs very well. Alys has been encouraged to develop at her own rate but also encouraged to excell and Clair has always supported us in what we are doing at home.
I think it's wonderful how well my daughter has slotted into Clair's family and often talks about games they've played or jokes they've shared, she feels very loved and secure at Clair's provision.
Finally- I cannot recommend Clair enough as a childminder- aside from her excellent knowledge and warm and welcoming setting, her provision has an exceptional garden which has really nurtured my daughter's love of nature.
I can't recommend them enough- we will miss Clair, 'Sash' and the rest of her lovely family so much.

Fantastic!!

My son has been with Clair since he was 3.we discovered Clair through an advert ion the childminding page. My son has settled so well with Clair as he never settled at nursery. He has learned so much and grown in confidence. Has made lots of friends and looks forward to going everyday! My son starts school this September (2019) thanks to Clair she has set the foundation and prepared my son for school. Highly recommend Clair. Thank you so much we are so going to miss you. X

Outstanding care

I'm so glad we found Clair to care for our son, he thrived in her care and is now ready for the adventure of school! She cares for each child as an individual and works alongside you to provide the best for your child. My son loved the outdoor play provision and formed a bond with Sasha who now works alongside Clair. A great, homely environment, my son looked forward to going every day.

Childminder

Claire has been the childminder of our little boy who is now 4 and a half since he was 1 years old. He loves going there and does a range of activities inside and in the garden. Claire always does as we ask if there is something we are trying to do with him and she has always been really flexible with us and extremely accomodating. All of her family are lovely with our son and it is a homely environment where our son settled from the beginning and has always enjoyed being there

Clair is great, my kids love her and always feel at home in her environment.
She is kind, responsive to individual needs, has loads of equipment and a lovely garden with fruit trees and plenty of play equipment. She has clear consistent boundaries and loves and looks after my children really well. Provides parents with good feedback including pictures about what the children have been doing and always discusses behaviour issues or any problems which may have occurred in a positive way.
Also is happy to have home educated children and provides a good environment for them, and provides them with facilities to carry on with their chosen projects whilst there, eg installing scratch onto her computer so my elder son could continue his programming practice whilst there.

My children ask to go on days I am not working because they like it so much. To me that speaks volumes.
