About Me
I have always worked with children throughout my school life and knew it was a career path I wanted to take once finishing my GCSEs. I passed my exams gaining B’s and C’s in all subjects. I then went on to complete a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years Level 3 at Stockton Riverside College. I soon got my first job in Childcare with Just Learning Day Nursery where I started off as a Nursery Officer and gained promotions to Supervisory Nursery Officer and then again up the ladder a bit further to Third in Charge. After having my 2nd son Dylan I decided to take a different career path and become a Childminder so that not only could I continue doing the job I love, I could also stay at home and enjoy spending those precious early years with my sons. I am completely dedicated to my role as Childminder and aim to provide your child with the best Learning and Development I possibly can within my safe home environment.
My Experience
I have worked within a nursery setting since leaving college and only left once i had my own children. I have experience of newborn babies right through all the age ranges. While working at the nursery i was the supervisory nursery officer for the 0-2 year old children.
My Qualifications
I have recently had my second graded Ofsted Inspection since becoming a registered childminder and was graded with the highest grade possible - OUTSTANDING for the second time in a row, Which i am very pleased with and reflects my dedication to my job and to the children in my care.
