About Me
At Julie's house we are a team of four practitioners who provide care and education for early years, school age and holiday club children. We are a staff team of four practitioners with a lot of professional experience, a high percentage of degree level and early years teacher training qualifications between us.
We are an open-air setting with the vast majority of our time spent outdoors, in a well equipped outside area, lots of shelters and cozy areas provided and lots of adventures in places like the local woods, moors, parks and fields, along with outings to more formal facilities such as Harewood House, Bolton Abbey estate and Harlow Carr RHS gardens.
We regularly (when Covid is not an issue) meet and share activities with other childminders too, ensuring that the children experience a wide range of friendship groups and opportunities to build confidence in larger groups of peers.
we provide a busy before and after school service, where all the children enjoy the opportunity to play with others of different ages and experiences, building on a family type environment in which children learn to respect and care for each other.

All the team members at Julie's House have many years professional, and personal experience or working with young children.
My Qualifications
within the team three childminders have early years degrees and Julie has early years teacher qualification and currently completing an Ma in early years study.
