About Me
Hi, my name is Vicki and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder. I live with my husband and our two children (aged 10 and 8) in Horsehay, Telford. I offer a safe, caring and fun home-from-home setting, with lots of toys and activities for children to choose from. Children have access to our lounge, playroom, dining room and large, secure garden.
We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors; the children love water and sand play, helping to collect eggs from our chickens, growing (and eating!) fruit and vegetables and having fun on our adventure play area. I also aim to take the children out most days, with regular visits to local parks, libraries, soft play centres, toddler groups and woodlands.
I am able to offer the Government funded hours for under 5s.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience. I have taught throughout the Primary age range, from Early Years right up to Year 6. I have lots of experience in teaching children with special needs as well as English as an additional language. My extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage helps me to provide an environment in which children can learn and develop whilst having fun, and also gain the independence, confidence and social skills needed to prepare for school.

EYFS Learning and Development
Early Movers training (encouraging physical activity)

My Availability
My usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 6pm, with some flexibility when required. I offer full-time and part-time places.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
I charge £4.50 an hour. This includes all meals, drinks, snacks and everyday activity costs.

Our daughter has been going to Vicki for over a year now. She absolutely loves Vicki and the other children. She is always talking about them and the activities they are doing. Vicki takes them to numerous playgrounds, Forest school and baby groups. My daughters favourite thing is jumping in puddles as forest school. She enjoys feeding the chickens, painting, reading, baking walking to see the horses and going to the park. They walk most mornings to drop older children at school and she absolutely loves interacting with them on the journey.
My daughter feels safe and happy with Vicki. We are secure in the knowledge that she is well looked after.
Communication from Vicki is fantastic. She is prompt with invoices, she is flexible with working hours and days.
I cannot reccomend Vicki highly enough!. I'm currently expecting my second child and I really hope she will have availability once I'm ready to go back to work.
