About Me
I am an OFSTED registered setting and I live in the village of Edlesborough. In my last Ofsted inspection I gained a grade of Good.
We are both a nursery and childminder setting, our main focus is on the early years, but we also appropriately provide a school wrap around and school holiday provision.
I believe I offer a friendly and flexible childminding service and provide an environment which is warm and welcoming to both children and parents. I aim to provide a safe and caring setting where children are loved and motivated to have fun and learn.
I have purpose built playrooms (internal and external) suitable for young children to play and have fun in. The playrooms open out onto a large secure garden allowing play to be taken out in to the fresh air. We also have a large area to the rear of our house suitable for outdoor play. We have a kitchen / diner where we eat meals and do art and crafts and baking activities.
All children have access to drinks, snacks and fruit through out the day.
At Meal / Snack times the children are encouraged to interact, sit together and use good manners. I actively promote healthy eating within my setting. Children are never forced to eat anything they don't want to, however they are encouraged to try a little bit of everything and eat as much as they can. Snacks times include fruits, biscuits, juice, milk and water.

I have been a qualified Childminder for over 18 years.
My Qualifications
OFSTED registered and appropriate training courses undertaken.
I have a paediatric first aid certificate.
Member of the National Childminding Association.
My Availability
My typical working hours are between 7am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday. I do not usually work on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Earlier drop-offs and later pick-ups may be possible on request. I am able to drop off and collect children from the local schools / pre-schools during term times.

My fees are competitive and I provide an appropriate discount for siblings.

Our three children have been cared for by Trudi and she really was fantastic with them. A great sense of humour, very caring and patient...she had endless patience for our two year boy who could be a challenge a lot of the time! Trudi always has a smile and is happy to see you when you arrive. Fantastic house and huge garden where the children can all play safely and lots of toys and play equipment to keep them busy. Great location in the village near to the school, the village green and playground.
She is very flexible and always tries to accommodate at short notice and is happy to pick up from the local school and sometimes dropped ours at our house at the end of the day which helped us out so much.
Home cooked food and lots of cuddles, Trudi's house is a home from home. Trudi has become a friend of the family and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
