About Me
Hi, my name is Tammy, I'm a happily married mum to five children aged between 13-23 years old and have two granddaughters aged 2 and 4. I graduated from the University of Herts with a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education in 2010. Prior to studying for my degree, I was an Ofsted registered child minder for 10 years. I have run a Brownie Pack on Wednesday evenings in WGC since 2004 which I love. I am calm, patient, friendly, outgoing and creative, I have my own car and clean driving licence and hold a current paediatric first aid certificate, recent DBS and Ofsted registration. Although I have no formal nanny training, I have masses of experience with children in many different capacities. I was planning to begin teaching full time when my youngest daughter started secondary school but I have found that I really enjoy working as a Nanny, I have more quality time to spend with my own family and I have enjoyed the close relationship I have built with the families I have worked with. I feel privileged to support the learning journey of young children and enjoy helping them to reach their goals and milestones. I am more than happy to attend playgroups, music groups etc as well as spending quality time on free activities such as cooking, creative crafts and outdoor fun. I am also happy to attend to the the wider needs of the children, cooking meals, washing clothes, keeping toys and craft areas tidy. I'm also Pet friendly! Would also be willing to offer tutoring at KS1/2 level for entry exams/ SATS etc and evening/weekend babysitting.
