About Me
*Full and part time spaces available* I am able to be flexble with parents need's.
I believe that children learn best through play, which is what most of my daily activities are based on.
We attend swimming, local playgroups, libraries and local parks throughout the week. I also have a large enclosed rear garden so children have the opportunity to play outdoors daily.
In our home there is me Lorna, my husband Stu and our two children Charlie 11 and Annalise 5. We also have a Dalmatian who is 7 months called Lottie she is fantastic with children of all ages.
My Experience
I have an NVQ2 in childcare and have previously worked in a nursery. Before I had my daughter I volunteered at russel scott 1 day a week and also worked there as a midday assistant. Ive worked with children from birth to 11 years.

Nutrition and oral health award (for carers of the under 5's)

My Availability
I am available mon to fri between 7.30 and 5.30pm but I am flexible.

My little boy just adores Lorna, as do we! She is caring, kind, loving and just exactly who you would want to look after your little one. Lorna is flexible and reliable, she provides the best of the best and I do not worry one bit about my little one when he is in her care. She is just a lovely person with such a warm and motherly temperament, her family are just lovely and so very welcoming. They go out on fabulous day trips and attend many play groups. She treats my child like her own and I literally could not ask for any more! Just absolutely outstanding! We just love her!

Well what can I say apart from the best childminder ever my two girls have childminders in the passed but no where meet the standards Lorna and Sarah provide my youngest find it hard to bond with other people but she has not problem settling in I just wish I had found her years ago, places available are 100% not to be missed we all find it hard leaving our children but you would have a peace of mind they do lots of activities which has help both my children please use they are really amazing ladies

Louby lou contacted me on this site after I set my profile up. I first visited Lorna and her house to make sure I was happy. Lorna was warm, welcoming and very friendly. Her and her lovely family made me feel at home immediately and I knew she was the childminder for my 11 month old boy. My son settled in straight away. Lorna took him swimming, to baby groups, the park and so much more, celebrating his first birthday and giving presents and card. She loved my little boy like a mummy!! She was a home away from home. I would recommend Lorna to anyone. She is fantastic. Safe, loving and a lovely person. USE HER!!!!! I would rate her services and experience as excellent x x xx
