About Me
Hello, welcome to Little Knights Childminding Farnborough. We are an all year round setting. Based in the garden from a beautiful log cabin we use as a playroom with access to the great outdoors all day, everyday.
A fully qualified OFSTED registered childminder in Cove, Farnborough. Close to Tower Hill Primary School.
*My main working hours are 8am until 6pm.
* I charge £5.50 per hour
*I accept government funding for all ages.
All fees include snacks, milk, a light dinner and outings. I ask you to provide your child with a packed lunch.
I have a level 3 children and young people's workforce full childcare qualification for working with children aged birth to 18, which I studied at Farnborough College of Technology while working in a pre school as a key person.
I have an up to date DBS/CRB check.
I have up to date first aid.
I have a level 4 in Safeguarding.
I have undertaken lots of extra courses such as learning through play, how 2 year olds think, forest school.
Full clean driving licence.
Own car, age appropriate car seats provided. Pushchairs, travel cots ect provided.
I have 3 children of my own aged 23, 20 and 11 years old.
My daughter is registered as my assistant, she has a full DBS and has completed her first aid so is a 2nd pair of hands for emergencies.
We have 3 pet ducks.
I run a home from home, Family setting for children of all ages. We spend lots of time outdoors and love using natural resources, hands on activities learning during play. I follow the eyfs the same as Pre schools and nurseries and will provide you with photos sent weekly via what’s app and observations and trackers in a learning journal termly.
I offer a range of stimulating and fun activities where children learn through play.
We do lots of sensory and messy play as well as cooking and science experiments. We do arts and crafts daily, painting, drawing, Mark making, cutting and sticking and play dough.
We always start and finish our day with singing, a story and some dancing.
I love what I do and every child becomes a part of our family not just while in my care but after they leave, we keep in contact with all our past families meaning all the children become a part of our extended family.
We have lots of fun both at home and out and about.
Daily outings include: parks, walks, feeding the ducks, library, farms, museums, the beach, the garden Centre, woodland walks and lots more.

My Experience
Over 20 years experience working with babies, children and teenagers. 10 years have been spent working with children aged from birth to 5 years old in a nursery setting where I completed my level 3 qualification in childcare, I have also completed many other childcare related courses.
I spent 5 years running a rainbows and brownie group.
My Qualifications
A recognised college based Level 3 children and young peoples workforce full childcare qualification for working with children aged birth to 18.
First aid training.
Safeguarding level 4.
Food and Hygiene Level 2.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I am open Monday - Thursday 8am until 6pm all year.
Full or part time hours between 8am and 6pm.
Fees are £5.50 per hour.
I accept the 15 and 30 hour funding.
My fees include all activities and outings. I also include snacks and a light dinner but ask you to provide a lunch everyday.
