About me:
I am an ofsted registered childminder, I am 41 and live in a nice, safe bungalow in Eagle. I have two children (Alex, who is 10 and Henry, who is 7), plus a gentle and loving cat.
I love to bake, love reading books & enjoy being outside. I love wild swimming too. I moved to Lincolnshire from 14 years and really love it here.
My business:
I have set up Littlebotbots childminding because I am passionate about providing good quality childcare in my home and feel like I have so much to offer children.
I use the EYFS to plan activities for children & have a good selection of toys & craft materials. Outdoor play is important & I will always encourage children to play outside and explore their world through touch. Activities will be tailored to meet your child's age and stage of development and also their interests.
Daily activities include trips to the park, visiting animal centres, soft play & toddler groups. I read lots of stories with the children, sing lots of songs & have lots of fun. We also play in the garden or in the play room,do lots of craft activities & messy play.
Unique selling points:
I am happy to baby wear if that is what your little one is used to (I often carried my own sons in a sling). We used reusable nappies on our son so if you also use them, you can be confident I know how to treat them! (but disposable nappies are also welcome)
The environment and sustainability is important to me. I try to be as considerate to our surroundings as is possible and one way of trying to achieve this is that I aim to be as paperless as possible in business & will use online software for daily communication with parents /carers.
I have a level 3 Early Years Qualification as well as a Forest School Leader qualification & am studying for a level 3 SENCO qualification at the moment. I have been working with an assistant for the past year now & she is very hands on with all the children. We have a great working relationship.
My home:
My house is detached, with a good size, secure garden. We're in Eagle, which is just off the A46 between Newark & Lincoln. I am very safety conscious and would like to think my house is as safe as can be for inquisitive hands and minds.
Options:
I live opposite Eagle Primary school so am happy to do drop offs and collections. I am also registered to accept funded hours for children from 9 months plus 2, 3 and 4 year olds - please talk to me for more information about that service.

CPD is very important to me and I will shut my doors for up for 5 days a year so that I can attend training sessions
My Experience
I have been the primary carer for our sons since they were born and take every opportunity possible to look after the children of family and friends. I have been childminding since 2015 and have cared for numerous children in that time.
In my previous job, I used to give talks and presentations to school children (usually primary aged) about sustainability and recycling.
I also worked for a pre-school swim company and often help to entertain siblings of those having lessons.

My Availability
I am available weekdays from 8:00 until 5:00 and can do some late evenings or early mornings for special occasions.

We have been using Little botbots for over 4 years now and can say that it is the best decision I have made regarding my childrens care. My eldest child has been with Victoria since she was 7 months old and they have an amazing bond, and both of my children see Victoria's house as a home from home. There needs are always more than met, when challenges arise as they always do with parenting Victoria works with you to find the best way to deal with situations. My youngest has allergies, and I have never once had to question her judgement on anything, and feel completely safe with him in her care. Both of my children will be attending until they are no longer able to as I couldn't wish for a better environment for my children to be cared for in.
