My Summary
About Me
My name is Anna and we moved 9 years ago from Cambridge to Ely, 2 weeks later our second son was born.
I has been working for the last 2 years for several local families. One of the children started school this September, another got a place in a nursery. Therefore at the moment I am working only on Fridays helping parents who work from home.
I can work only during school terms and during school hours (from 9 till 3) to be able to provide care for my autistic children.
After my first maternity leave I found an interesting nanny job very fast. It just happened that an American family moved to Cambridge with their 4 children and loved the chaos that my baby boy brought into their home.
Soon after my second son was born, my toddler son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Going back to work was out of question as we went from one therapy to another, one course to another trying to support him as well as possible.
I would love to work with a child/children on the Spectrum to use my knowledge and experience in the field.
I have good references and DBS check.
I find working with children a challenging and interesting work.
As you can guess from my work experience I love traveling, meeting new people from different cultures and learn more and more about the surrounding world.
I am energetic and enthusiastic woman with lots of fresh ideas and imagination not smaller than the one of your children.
I like swimming, cycling, skiing and walking in the mountains.
My Experience
09.2021 - 08.2023
Working as a nanny for a local family who needed an extra support with their autistic child while having a new baby (three times as week). On the other 2 days I would take care of a little girl in another family who were waiting for a place in a nursery.
06.2013 - 08.2014
Working as a nanny for an American family who moved to Cambridge with their 4 children age 3, 5, 8 and 10. I was taking my newborn son with me and he created a pack with the other children. We stayed with them until my maternity leave in 2014 when my second son was born.
20.07.2011 - 26.10.2012
I was working for 2 different families at the same time. A toddler during mornings while his mum was with her new born baby and in the afternoon I was picking up a 10-year-old boy form his school and prepared tea for him and his older siblings.
03.11.2010 - 18.07.2011
Full time nanny to 2-years-old twins and their 6 years-old sister in Oxford. I took care mostly of the twins when their parents were at work and of their sister after picking her up from school.
01.02.2010 – 21.07.2010
Part time nanny, Ms Sara Venturini, The Netherlands
I took care of Giuseppe (3-year old) and Emma (16 months) 5 hours a day so their mother could go to her part time job. My main responsibility was not only to keep them safe and happy but to teach them Dutch since they came from Italian family.
28.08.2006 - 22.12.2007 and from 01.08.2008 - 08.09.2009
Full time nanny, Ms Una Molloy, Roganstown, Ireland
Four children (age 10, 6, 4 and a baby) of the McCaffreys family really kept me busy for three years but I enjoyed every bit of it! We travelled a lot together, did some art projects and at the same time I taught them how to be independent and make new acquaintances.
05.10.2004 - 07.06.2006
Full time nanny, Mr and Mrs Weatherstone, London, the UK
I took care of a three-year-old boy while his parents were at their full-time jobs. I prepared for him his meals, clean his room and washed his clothes. I organised his free time and half-term holidays, swimming lessons etc. We enjoyed each others company a lot.
29.03.2003 - 24.09.2004
Au pair, Ms Astrid Zevenbergen; Bosch en Duin, The Netherlands
In this job I was responsible for 3 little children (2,4 and 6 years old). I was preparing their meals, helping them with learning English, taking and picking them up from school taking them for swimming lessons and organizing their social life.

Anna looked after our two boys during a weekend in Ely and I can only highly recommend her. She was absolutely fantastic and we had no problem leaving our kids as we could see they were in great hands.
She is thoughtful and takes initiative when needed, and our boys were more than happy to be left alone with her.
HIGHLY recommended!
Anna was a fabulous nanny for my little boy and we are very sad she has left Oxford! Anna has more energy and enthusiasm for playing with and teaching little children than anyone else I know. She bonded quickly with my son and he felt very safe and secure with her. Anna is very patient and has firm and fair boundaries. The staff at the children's centre she often took my son to reported back to me regularly that she was always attentive and engaged him in activites. I highly recommend Anna, the next family who hire her are a lucky family!
