About Me
I am a registered childminder Graded as Good with a NVQ level3 in childcare. I'm married and have two children grown up children [all CRB checked] we are animal loving family- we have pet cats.
We are Covid 19 Vaccinated.
I'm a friendly, caring person and fun loving person I provides a home from home enviroment for the children, which is a safe and happy place for the children to play, learn and develop in. There is an indoor area to play in and also a good sixed garden with a covered area so we can get out in most weathers .
I make use of local facilities - Our local parks and open spaces plus Hobbledown Farm, Bushy and Richmond Parks and Hampton Court Palace. I also attend local stay and play groups when they are open but prefer to be out and about weather permitting.
I am based on the borders of Old/New Malden and Motspur Park - near Motspur Park Station , close A3 access and close to the 213 bus route.
Pick ups and drops home can be arranged
My Experience
I have cared for children aged from 6mths to 11yrs. I am a friendly caring person who really loves her job.
I currently care for two young families with children aged between 15mths and 3yrs old..
I provide a healthy varied diet which takes into account the childrens needs and likes. I have had experience of caring for child with food issues such as allergies and also a limiled experience of tube/peg feeding.
I attend courses on childcare to keep up to date with new ideas and procedures.
I have worked for many families in the area who have supplied me with written references.
The most recent children to leave are moving on to nursery and school. I have references available for new families to see.
My Qualifications
I have an Nvq level 3 in Childcare
I attend training to keep up to date with the ever changing guidelines for childcare.
My training includes 1st Aid course,Safeguarding Cihildren, Makton, Courses in the 7areas of learning, health and safety in the home and many more.
Outstanding in 2016
Ofsted graded Good in 2020
My Availability
I have vacancy from March 2024 I can supply full or part-time care.
My regular hours are 8 am to 6pm but I am flexible.
Pick ups and drop of are possible depending on my other commitments , please ask if these are needed.
I can offer 15hrs and 30 hrs funding places
I also have a vacancy for before and after school care (I currently do not have any school pick ups so I could do most local schools)

Kim has looked after our daughter since she was 2.5 years old and continues to collect her after school and look after her during school holidays. Kim is kind and caring and our daughter has always had a lovely time with her with lots of trips to soft plays, farms, hobbledown etc and she frequently says to me “I love Kim’s house” after I’ve collected her.

Kim has looked after our daughter from 9 months of age till 4 years. She has been an absolute life saver for us as we have no family nearby and without her help and support we would have been very lost. Our daughter loves it there and it had been like a home away from home.

Kim looked after our boys for 3 years from the age of 8 months but we are moving out of the area and therefore have to find alternative childcare.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for Kim, she is always there to help if needed and became such an important part of our family. Our boys absolutely adore her and we will all miss her terribly.
I cannot recommend her enough.

Kim looked after our son for 2 years from when he was 1 until he was 3. I have nothing but praise for her. Kim was very reliable and I don't think she was sick or cancelled any days in the whole 2 years we were with her. She was also flexible and accommodated any requests we made.
Our son really likes her and includes her when listing out his friends. Some mornings he was reluctant to leave us but always happy to give Kim a cuddle and be brought into her home. Kim kept in contact and sent photos of the activities during the day. Our son definitely developed well in Kim's care and we never had any worries about the care he was receiving.
I have no hesitation in recommending Kim as an excellent child minder.

Kim is an excellent childminder and we couldn’t have been happier with her care for our 3 and 2 year old for 16 months from Aug 2017 to Dec 2018. We only ended the care as we are moving out of the area.
Kim provides traditional care with love, attention and safety. Our children have thrived with her and grown in confidence. Being a working parent is hard, however knowing Kim has been looking after our children has made it as best possible. We wish we could take her with us!
