I have found the gold dust!

So, we have a now 10 year old son who has been with Rhian and her amazing team (Leah and Tay) for almost a year now- all I can say is how didn't we find you 5 years ago?!! Rhian has so much love to give to each and every child that attends the true home from home for all the little ones and indeed the older children too! My son absolutely LOVES going home to Rhian's from school - my son Charlie is allowed to express himself freely, speak his mind, offer judgement with none given back in return, he has had more guidance in the last year alone from Rhian, that both myself and my husband have noticed how much he has flourished and grown in his own right. There is so much I could type to sing the praise for Rhian and her not only beautiful home she opens up - but what I would like to really put is the amount of love that she has for each and every child no matter their age. Rhian's home offers the comfortable surrounds of a beautifully kept home, inviting for all the children- she caters for all their needs - play times are always covered no matter the great British weather! With an amazing purpose built cabin full of surprises from books for all ages, toys that the likes of Hamley's would be proud of, and an array of art and crafts, sand and water play, play-dough and cooking- there is always something being created by the children! Her home also boasts an incredible garden with plenty of outside activities catered for all children of different ages too, from a multi climbing frame, swing seat, bikes, scooters, table top games and toys too and so much more! The list is endless! And of course there are the frequent walks and outings in and around our local area which is just beautiful and lots to see and do. Our son Charlie loves to spend time with Rhian's two dogs Pickle and Waffle - and is usually found with them!! He loves to help Rhian cook for her family (he is usually one of the last to go and loves nothing better than to hop up onto the bar stool and ask Rhian what she is cooking and how she does it! and just generally have a natter with her, Tay and Leah and Rhian's family) In my eyes a very valuable lesson for my growing and learning boy - I am always blown away by the positivity that radiates from Rhian and her 2 fantastic ladies Tay and Leah- their inclusivity of all the children is so apparent, she and her ladies goes above and beyond for each and every child, and I truly feel my review is even now, understated !

My final comment for my review is only how sad both my husband and myself feel - and more so is our Charlie - at not finding you so much sooner. For Charlie I know he treasures every moment he is with Rhian - and especially the dogs - he loves the dogs!! - I must finally say that not only is Rhian just a ray of warmth and sunshine - but her family are also just as special, as Charlie really fondly looks up to her son who is of a similar age to his older brother but no longer lives at home. Charlie also holds a great deal of affection for Rhian's husband and her daughter too!

Rhian also caters for all dietary requirements, Charlie is allergic to Dairy and Egg, (he is also massively affected by the many different pollens that effect him throughout the year) in regards to meal times Rhian offers a full range of lovely healthy and nutritious meals and snacks - we do make Charlie's meals for school holidays at home as my husband batch cooks for Charlie - it makes life that little bit easier for us all and it also means that Rhian, Tay and Leah have more time for the little ones who needs bottles preparing, change times and that sort of thing and potty training! We understand completely about routines and so offer to prepare Charlie's main meals so he can bring them to Rhian's - but Rhian always has whatever fruit and snacks Charlie wants to munch on throughout school holidays, and we also feel it is the least we can do to offer in return for all the love and compassion and care Charlie and the little ones get every single day.

Rhian - you have brought our son's beautiful smile to the surface, you have made him stronger, you encourage him in all that he does, you sing his praises and guide him where necessary. You are truly gold dust and we are forever grateful for all the love and support you have showered Charlie with each and every day he is at home with you. Thank you from me - but especially from Charlie ;) x x

Outstanding - always goes the extra mile!

My son has been going to Rhian’s since he was 9 months old (he’s now 16 months) and I can’t tell you how pleased we are with them. He has the absolute best time - always smiling, playing and learning and they give me regular updates to make me feel so at ease since going back to work!
They’re amazing at keeping to the individual child’s schedule and honestly - most full nursery’s don’t have as good a setup as she does! We were so set on sending him to a nursery but completely changed our mind the second we met her and saw the place. I feel like he gets much better 1-2-1 care and he has absolutely thrived and grown in to this outgoing, confident toddler because of the care he receives here.

Fantastic and Caring Childminder

Our girls (now 5 and 8) have been with Rhian since our arrival at Llantwit Major almost 2.5 years ago. She has provided us with daycare and breakfast and after school care for both our girls. The girls love their time at Rhian's. She provides a space where they can create art, role play, enjoy dancing and music, and explore the outdoors. The girls have also enjoyed her homemade dinners throughout their time there. Her caring and supportive approach to her childminding is outstanding and we will use her childminder services until the girls are too old. We highly recommend her!

Amazing educational, homely setting

Rhian and her team are so kind, caring and compassionate about each of the children in their care.
The setting is both fun and educational for children of all ages.
Rhian is very accommodating for all childminding needs and caters a well balanced nutritional meal also.
It is like a home from home which is all you can ask for

Absolutely fantastic!!

My little child has been going to Rhian’s Childminding since he was 8 months old, he’s now 3. He absolutely loves it, has made some lovely friends and he can’t wait to go every morning!!
She has a purpose built, fully heated cabin in her garden which is full of toys, craft activities and cosy sitting area, outdoor play area, she engages children in activities which enhance their literacy & numeracy skills and the children go on regular outdoor trips to the local area.
It’s a wonderful, nurturing environment for a child to grow & learn. Rhian treats the children like they’re her own. From the moment we walked through the door we knew we’d chosen the right person to look after for our child.
You won’t go wrong if you choose Rhian and her helpers, Taylor & Ellie to care for your child. Absolutely fantastic, 5 star service!!

Fab childminding

I was looking for somewhere for my daughter to start while working, but was very anxious about where as it was her first time. As soon as i met rhian and the girls i knew my daughter would settle nicely. She has a lovely garden for the children to play and theyre always outside on a nice day which i love, even eating snacks and lunch outside.
Also lots of activities for the children to do inside. My daughter runs inside as she loves it so much. :) Rhian and the girls always update me of what my daughter does throughout the day. I am happy with my daughter being left in there care.
Excellent childminding service i would recommend :)

Rhian has been an absolute god send . My children

My children are in the best care possible being with Rhian. Shes fantastic with the kids under her care. If there not playing outside, there on trips to the beach or enjoying stimulating activities inside. My daughter wakes up every morning wanting to go to the childminders and asks if she can go everyday after school. Rhian gets my children to experiment and try new foods which are always nutritious. My children are now eating salads!!! My little boy has come on leaps and bounds while been under rhians care , his social skills and speaking skills Have really developed. My children have become part of a loving family home and I couldn't feel more confident leaving my kids . Always available to have them late notice! A big thanks to you and Leighton for all your love . Support and effort with my kids. A* !!!! X

Flexible, child friendly home with a lovely family

A lovely, child friendly home with a flexible attitude. Rhian provides a fun & happy environment for children of all ages. Any food prepared is always healthy & nutritional with hints & tips given on anything that's been offered to our little girl so we can try things at home. Our little girl loves going to Rhian's & we feel she is treated like a family member herself.

Lovely woman highly recommend

In the time my daughter was with with Rhian, Rhian put every effort into helping with her food and sensory disorder and writing out food diaries when needed, thanks to the help from Rhian my daughter no longer has trouble eating any food and loves her fruit, thanks to the lovely meals and fruit that Rhian always made her. Rhian is a lovely person, who cares and adores the children she cares for and my daughter adored her, they always had so much fun and I loved receiving the photos of Ella playing while I was working. I would highly recommend. I hope to use Rhian again in the future :)

Excellent

Rhian and her family have been looking after my children for just over a year. My boys love going there. Rhian plans plenty of activities taking all age groups into consideration. She is caring, kind, flexible and helpful.
