About Me
My name is Rhiannon and I am a registered child minder with the CSSIW. I live on a family run farm with my husband and son. We are situated between Bassaleg and Castleton and I offer quality childcare in a home from home environment. Children will not only have access to soft play and toddler groups etc but they will also get opportunities to help collect eggs from the chickens, help to plant and grow vegetables and enjoy lots of walks and splashing in muddy puddles in a safe environment! They will be able to see the big tractors and machines at work and have access to their own mini versions should they wish to become mini farmers!
I offer a pick up and drop off service to the following:
Rhiwderin Meithrin
Bassaleg Pre-school
Pentrepoeth Primary School
However, depending on start and finish times of schools and nurseries I may be able to offer a drop off and pick up from other places.

My Availability
Monday to Friday 07:30 - 18:00 and during most school holidays. My times are flexible so please let me know what you are looking for.

After moving to the area in August last year, I was desperate to get my son settled and interacting with other children. I came across 'Country kids' and went to meet Rhiannon.
My son absolutely loves seeing the tractors and farm animals on a daily basis, aswell as collecting the chicken eggs, the walks out over the fields and trips to soft play.
Rhiannon has wet days Sussed, Harry brings home art work and paintings he has made regularly including seasonal surprises. The play room is full of toys for both boys and girls of all ages, tractors, cars, play kitchens and dollies are just a few of the toys they can enjoy!
In just six months my sons speech has come on immensely and I truly believe this is down to the one to one time Harry has with Rhiannon.
I feel happy leaving him there as I know he is happy and I always pick him up with a huge smile on his face even though he is exhausted from the busy activities!
Cannot recommend this childcare enough!!! 5**

rhiannon cares for my 2 year old son. I chose to go back to work in febuary and after facing the anxieties all parents go through at leaving there child for the first time to go back to work, we was soon put at ease after finding rhiannon.
Our son soon settled quickly with rhiannon and doesnt even look back now to say goodbye to us.
Rhiannon is very passionate about her job and with the updates of caelans day from herI can go to work knowing our son is happy and content. highly recommend xxx
