About Me
I have been a registered childminder in Northwich for 24 years and have 2 daughters aged 28 and 26 and 3 step-daughters. I have been married for 30 years to Paul and have an English Bulldog, called Chip. I love children and working from home. I have a playroom where the children eat and I store their toys but they don't stay in there because they like being fussed by my children when they get home. I take the children out every morning. Depending on the weather, we go to parks, playbarns, toddler groups etc.
My Experience
I have cared for all age ranges of children, from babies up to teenagers. I used to care for school children after school as well as babies and toddlers but as they have left I haven't replaced them since my youngest child, Imogen, went to high school. I just care for little ones at the moment and it is working really well. I ask the parents of the children I care for to write down their child's typical day and I try to stick to their routine as much as possible.
My Qualifications
I have all the usual childminding qualifications such as Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding Children but also have an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development. I also have numerous certificates as I try to go on at least 3 courses a year to keep up to date with what's new.
My Availability
I am available from 8.30 - 5 pm Monday to Thursday but I am flexible.
