About Me
Hello my name is Charlotte and I live with my husband and 2 children in the beautiful village of Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham.
My aim is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment, where the children learn through play.
I follow the EYFS guidelines to help the children achieve as individuals and everything I do I have the children’s best interests at heart.
I have a fully equipped playroom which is attached to my house and a safe and secure astro turfed garden, both equipped with lovely resources for the children to explore and enjoy. I offer a real home from home environment where the children feel safe and secure.
We go on regularly outings including attending local play groups aswell as playing at home. We go on lots of walks and adventures keeping the children stimulated and active.
I have no pets and live in a smoke free home.
I offer free Early Years funded places for 9 months and also 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
My Experience
I am a Mum which has given me lots of experience and there's no better experience then been a mum!
I have been a childminder for over 10 years and I have loved every minute of it. We are one big family and everyone is treated equally and with love.
I work closely with my parents involving them in their children's learning and development and together we make sure the children grow and develop, which is very rewarding and why I love my job.

My son has been going to Charlottes for a few months now and is ver happy.
- Charlotte goes to various play groups which means he gots lots of exercise, a change of scene and interacts with other children
- Charlotte offers healthy snacks and meals and promotes healthy eating
- Charlotte's playroom is lovely - lots of toys, educational posters and spotlessly clean!
- Charlotte's garden is great, very safe and enclosed and lots of toys for imaginative play
- Charlotte creates a nurturing environment
- Charlotte keeps parents up to date with newsletters and a daily diary
- Charlotte has themes each term which helps the kids to learn
- There are lots of arts and crafts at Charlottes and projects worked on for special dates in the year (Mother's Day, Easter etc)
- When I collect my son at tea time he never wants to come home - he always has lots to show and tell me about his day at Charlotte's!
Overall, the whole family are very impressed and happy with the care that Charlotte provides!
