About Me
My name is Shari and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in a lovely housing development in Dawlish Warren, Dawlish.
I am a happily married mummy to 2 beautiful daughters aged 15 and 13 our 1 year old fur baby and a small tortoise.
I hold a full set of current and up-to-date policies and procedures.
My home is a clean, happy home with lots of accessible toys, books, puzzles and much more to help the children feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.
We do many activities including baking, crafts, singing and story/rhyme time.
I have an enclosed back garden where the children can play safely and a large green area at the front of the house, where children can play safely under close supervision.
We enjoy going out and about, such as to the beach, local play parks and visit other attractions, such as, library, soft play cafes, local toddler groups and Haldon forest.
I hold a full clean drivers licence and own an 8 seat vehicle with appropriate business car insurance.
I am available for school/nursery pick ups and drop offs at Gatehouse Primary School and Tinky's Preschool.
I am a fully funded approved childminder and am able to care for children who receive 2 year old funding and 3/4 year old funding.
My childminding service provides daily care for children aged 0 - 12 years, Monday to Thursday, from 07.30 until 1800 and Fridays from 0730 till 1600.
My Experience
I have been a registered Childminder for 14 years and received a 'Good' grading on my last Ofsted Inspection.
As well as bringing up my own children, i have cared for children of varying ages during my time as a childminder.
Before I became a childminder, I worked with Adults and Children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

NVQ care level 2
Introduction to childcare practice
EYFS for childminders
Safeguarding Children and Young People
Paediatric first aid
Level 3 Diploma - Children and Young Peoples Workforce

I do not have any spaces available at present, but can add to my waiting list.
I am open Monday to Thursday from 07.30 until 18.00 and Fridays from 0730 till 1600. Please message for information.
I am an approved 2 year old funding provider .
I can also accept EYEF 3/4 year old funding.
