About Me
I am an experienced childminder who has been working in the Harlesden / Willesden area for many years. I have excellent relationships with the parents of children in my care and the children thoroughly enjoy the learning experience they receive. Many of the children in my care have come through recommendations.
I provide a home from home, welcoming environment with a garden. I plan activities based around your child's interests and support them in their development towards school readiness. The children take part in daily trips to play centers, parks and other educational institutions such as the library and the zoo.
My ethos is 'Children feel welcome, secure and happy in my care'.
I am available Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.30pm. I have a secure understanding of the individual needs of each child and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I spend quality time settling children in which gives them confidence and security. I use effective communication links with parents which enables me to keep parents updated on their child's development and wellbeing. Children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates so the activities planned take this into consideration. I plan challenging, enjoyable experiences for each child in all areas of learning and development.
My Experience
I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program, I have a Level 3 Diploma in Homebase Childcare.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare.
I have safeguarding and First Aid certificates. I regularly attend training events for OFSTED registered childminders provided by Brent online and in person including the yearly EYFS conference and course provided by other online providers to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge.

Mary has looked after my daughter since she was 10months old, and I have been delighted with the care she has provided. My daughter loves Mary’s, and is confident and happy going there everyday. It genuinely feels like home from home!
Mary’s setting is perfect for little ones to grow and develop. The play room is spotless with an array of toys and equipment for the children to enjoy. The garden is beautiful, with a large selection of outdoor toys. Mary does planting, and lots of outdoor play. Everyday the children attend local playgroups and activities, as well trips to the Zoo!
Mary’s experience is vast, and I feel completely confident with the care and support she has given to my daughter. If you get the opportunity to work with Mary you will be absolutely delighted!

We feel really lucky to have found Mary. As our daughter’s childminder, she is an extension of our own family and my daughter couldn’t be in better hands. Mary has been taking care of our daughter for the last three years since age 1. Mary has been great support through milestones like potty training and starting pre school.
Mary’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and my daughter has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care.
Beyond all this though, it is Mary’s warm and friendly approach which sets her apart from other childminders we considered using.
We highly recommend her and hope she’ll remain part of my daughter’s childcare as she progresses to school.

Mary saved me after a particularly bad experience settling my daughter into a private nursery. I wish I had looked at a childminder first rather than the nursery route as Mary immediately filled me with confidence. She treats all the children in her care as an extension of her family and my daughter loves her and loves going round to her house. She settled so well with her and misses her whenever we go away on holiday. Mary provides my daughter with stimulating experiences and she always does something different everyday. Her playroom is bright, clean and filled with books, clean toys with everything at the child's level. Mary is so knowledgable about childhood development and always provides me with feedback on how my daughter is getting on. But most of all Mary provides me with peace of mind everyday, knowing that she is in safe, loving and nuturing hands. I can't recommend Mary highly enough!
