About Me
Hi, my name is Debbie and i live here with my Wife, Everyone who lives and attends my home are fully D B S checked I don't allow smoking on the premises as i don't personally smoke. i am a fully qualified Ofsted registered childminder of 20 years operating in the Clifton area of Nottingham . i am proud also to be a mum of 4 boys who have since grown up and left home. Although the boys have there own homes and families our home is still full of children every day its a very busy lively house and is still never ever very quiet , we have 5 grandchildren who we adore, we have a cat called jess..i provide a warm, clean and comfortable safe home with lots of toys and resources for the little ones to enjoy. We have a medium well stocked garden with a large tree house lots of sand and water play and a lovely purple Wendy house with toy kitchens and dolls houses inside. we have lots of ride-ons and scooters ect and lots more I provide day trips and outings in the local community and age appropriate activities for children of all ages from babies to teens, including the local farm, library and toddler groups, Nott's tot's ect I also practice forest school ( weather permitting) were we explore the local woods and forests and participate in activities, these include making a bug hotel, leaf painting ,scavenger hunts, pebble painting, twig weaving, flower crown making and the list goes on . we also visit the local summer wood community gardens for lots of outdoor fun etc the children are never board and we are active all the time. All meals are included in the price and consist of fresh home cooked Nutritional healthy food which all the children sit down to as a family at the table this is all prepared by my wife sue who is a fully qualified chief and holds a current food hygiene and safety certificate level 3 .
My Experience
I have been registered as a child minder for 22 years and have 4 grown children of my own. I hold a NVQ level 3 in children's care and learning. I am currently offering the 2/ 3/4 year funding ,i am E Y F S trained in the learning of all pre school children preparing them for the transition into School. I am experienced in baby care weaning and nutrition and toilet training.

N.V.Q LEVEL 3 IN CHILDREN'S CARE AND LEARNING.
Full paediatric first aid certificate With infant modules
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Food hygiene Certificate level 5
Allergy and Epipen training.
Learning through play.

my setting is open from 7am till 5.30 pm mon-fri I do not work weekend or bank holidays
