About Us
Earlystarts excels in providing quality and reliable childcare currently based in on site at Charlton House Independent school in Bitterne.
Our working hours are from 7am - 7pm, Monday - Friday as we know how difficult it can be to find suitable childcare that fits in with full time employment, so this makes us unique.
At Earlystarts we know the importance of developing children and the importance of exercise and the great our doors, we are fortunate enough to have 17 acres of land at our disposal and all of our children get outside every day and our pre schoolers participate in our Outdoor Learning 2 days a week.
We enjoy days out to Riverside Park, Marwell Zoo, Manor Farm and Jumpin Jax soft play.
We work with a company called Nursery Kitchen Company and they provide our food in line with stable and healthy foods for all ages. They also cater for allergies, vegetarians and diabetics.
We are going through the process of being awarded via the local authority the HEYA Award which represents Healthy Early Years Award
All staff are paediatric first aid trained, levels 2/3/4 early years educated, all staff are safeguard trained, we have 3x DSL staff members and we have 2 qualified SENCO staff on site.

I cannot thank Claire and the team enough for how easy they’ve made it to leave my son after a year of maternity leave! I was dreading it hearing horror stories about who much nursery’s treat children/ don’t care but this team literally couldn’t do enough for you! The text on the first day to ask if I was okay just made me believe I’d made the right choice. I couldn’t be more happy with the progress I’ve seen in my son since he’s been there and they go out of the way for the children with trips and fun alongside learning. My sons only been there 3 months but every where else was sub standard to here and I’d recommend earlystarts to anyone who needs childcare!

Kerry and Clare have been fantastic, I could not ask for better childcare. my struggle with finding childcare was around my Rota, I work long days which are different each week, Kerry and clare are flexible with dates and times, allowing me to change dates last minute.
I worry lots about leaving my son but with Kerry and Clare I feel reasurred and extremely happy, they take my son Finley out to Parks, museums and walks. They have taught him lots of new skills and encourage him to be independent. Finley is always excited to see them and talks about them when he is home, He has become so much more confident and happy.
I would strongly recommend Kerry and Clare because they are an incredible team and so supportive. I don't worry about my childcare like I used to, I feel happy and relaxed as I know fin is being cared for, supported, learning new skills and having fun. Thank you guys xxx

My son (now 21 months old) has been going to Early Starts Childcare since February 2015, and they have really made him feel at home. He absolutely loves going there in the mornings and sometimes doesn’t want to come home in the evenings! Claire and Kerry are wonderful with him and have helped turn him into a confident little boy. They go on lots of trips out to the park, aquarium, etc. which really makes us feel like he’s not missing out with two full time working parents. I have also found them to be very flexible, which is a godsend as my working hours are not always set in stone, and their early start is really useful as it means I can get to work on time. All in all I think they are brilliant and I wouldn’t want George to go anywhere else!

Our son has been with Early Starts Childcare since May 2015. He absolutely loves going to Kerry and Clare each morning and always comes home very happy.
Kerry and Clare provide an excellent childcare service. They make life a lot easier with everything included in the cost and always go the extra mile when looking after our son. Each day we receive a diary of what Jacob has been up to, what he has eaten and how he has been. They provide a very healthy selection of food each day and Jacob especially enjoys the trips they go on each week to Peppa Pig World, farms and parks.
I feel very pleased that Jacob has settled in so well and would recommend Early Starts Childcare to anyone.
