About Me
Hello my name is Jackie Taitt, I am a mother of two; aged 24 and 18. I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I live in Nunhead, minutes from Nunhead station with free parking outside my door. I provide a warm, stimulating and inviting childcare setting where children will be loved, supported and feel comfortable to learn, play and explore. Any activities I provide will be stimulating and age appropriate. I take the children out to local play groups, parks, libraries and other planned trips so they can access the wider community and socialise with other children.
I offer full time, part time or term time contracts.
OFSTED rated 'GOOD'. All training, qualification and my OFSTED report are available for viewing.

I provide pick ups from Ivydale School.

Looked after my granddaughter, she was always ready and willing to go to Jackie's home. Jackie keeps them entertained, attend local groups, visits to the parks etc. I like that she's kept me informed on my granddaughter eating habits & developments. I would give Jackie a 10/10 and even though my granddaughter is now at school,she still speaks about Jackie.

A Nicely Structured Settling in Experience
Jackie is a patient person with a calm relaxed environment, which is very important. My son was instantly made to feel at home just like one of the family. There is always fun / education things to do inside and out. Jackie has been great at introducing new food groups into his diet . He has matured a lot and grown in confidence. Jackie has been really great with flexibility when we've had a unexpected change of plans which is something that is really important to us because when you have children you never what life will throw at you ! 😋
This has been a lovely experience for us and our boys , it's satisfying to know that we can leave the children with a conscientious trusted person.

Jackie has looked after my son for almost 3 years, and she's been a fantastic childminder to him. The first thing I noticed about her was how much fun the kids have with her, she has a real sense of what kids enjoy, and very quickly puts them at their ease. She is very caring and seems to genuinely enjoy the personality of each of the kids she looks after. She does plenty of activities with the kids at home, and takes them out and about. She's been good at teaching my son to develop independent skills, eg putting on shoes, washing hands, etc, and has helped his confidence. I think she's really set him up well for school. She's also flexible and easygoing with us parents, which is appreciated! We will be very sad to say goodbye.
