About Me
I am a helpful, reliable friendly person who loves looking after children. I am happily married and live in a nice, welcoming house with a secure back garden. I left my job in a nursery because I can look after my daughter and other children much better in a home environment. Now I can see how much better my daughter is developing and how being in a friendly home environment is much better for her than being in a nursery with more than 30 other children.
My Experience
I was acting base room manager in a very busy multicultural nursery and am very familiar with the new EYFS requirements.
I have more than 10 years experience of caring for children of different ages and abilities, including children with special needs.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in Children's care, learning and development;
Paediatric first aid certificate;
Food hygeine certificate;
SENCO level 6;
Motivating self and others certificate;
Epipen training;
Coping with challenging behaviour training;
"Learning stories" course.
My Availability
Monday-Friday 07:30-18:30 including school holidays.

Edith is the best carer I have seen so far, it has been very hard to find good care in the area but Edith has exceeded my expectations. She is warm and friendly and has a nice welcoming home which is important for my child. She provides varied activities and does her utmost with the children. She makes them feel special. She also tries her very best to meet any requests/needs for my child which is comforting. She focusses well on educating the kids too. I have already seen massive improvements in my child in areas she needed developing. Keep up the good work Edith!

Edith is great. My little one settled in so quickly. She feels home there. I would highly recommend. We’re vegetarians so she make sure my little one gets a good meal everyday. She’s also great with all the age as my little started at very young age. Place is very clean and tidy.
