My Experience

I have worked in the childcare industry for more than 14 years. I have a wide range of experience as a sole charge nanny and in nursery environments with children ages 10 days upto 7 years.

My duties within these roles include cooking healthy meals from scratch, childrens laundry, childrens ironing, school drop off/pick ups, planning a variety of fun activities according to the individual childs needs and ability and weather conditions, keeping the house and play areas clean and tidy and generally the day to day care of the children.

In a previous role i worked with 2 familys (nanny share) where i had 4 under 5's at one time. This was hard work but great fun!
Another previous role i was sole charge with a 4 year old girl and her 2 year old brother, I worked 4 days with them taking them to different groups, swimming, outings and arranging play dates until I went on maternity leave.

Within another previous position i worked 4 days a week with a 3 year old little girl, my little one came with me. And together we had breakfast, drop 3yo off at nursery. Then pick up again at 12. We then had lunch together and play, socialise, visit the park, library and do crafts until mum comes home.
Within this role I supported the little girl through potty training which was a very smooth process with the help of a huge pile of stickers as rewards.

I have also done wrap around childcare for 3 children aged 9,7 and 4.
I do breakfast and school drop off.
Then in the afternoons I pick them up from school, bring them back home (stopping at the park en route most of the time) and support them with any homework they may have, play board games, bake, cooking healthy family meals, taking them to and from after school clubs.

In my current position I am working as a teaching assistant in a small school in twickenham, with children aged between 2-3 (nursery class) My main responsibilities in this role are educational, supporting the teacher with planning, setting up the classroom/activities (up to 3 times daily) so they look exciting and fun for the children, whilst understanding the learning outcome of each. I carry out observations and assessments on the children to monitor their learning, then logging this on the online portal for the families to view.

My Qualifications

I hold a qualification in Childcare and Education
I also have a valid First aid certificate.
I have a valid DBS.
I also hold a full clean uk driving licence, i own my own car which i am willing to use for work.
I am ofsted registered and have liability insurance cover too.

My Availability

i am looking for 2/3 full day nanny position. (Term time only ideally)
Or before and after school nanny.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (net)

£12 net per hour
