About Me
*Spaces available from September*
Hi! I’m Noelia — a friendly, reliable, and qualified Registered Childminder who loves working with children of all ages. I’m enthusiastic, hands-on, and always coming up with fun, creative activities for little ones to enjoy.
I believe it’s so important for children to grow up in a caring, safe, and stimulating environment where they can learn, explore, and reach those important milestones at their own pace.
I’m a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English, and if you’d like, I’d be happy to introduce your child to some Spanish words and songs along the way — it’s a lovely, fun way for them to pick up a second language naturally!
I live with my husband and our two boys: a 6-year-old who’s at school and a lively 2-year-old who keeps me on my toes! Our home is warm, welcoming, and set up for little ones to feel comfortable, play, and learn.
About My Setting
I offer a warm, welcoming, and homely environment where children can feel safe, valued, and happy. My home is fully equipped for little ones of all ages, with plenty of toys, books, creative activities, and outdoor play opportunities to keep them engaged and learning throughout the day.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support children’s development, providing a variety of activities tailored to their individual interests and needs. From messy play and arts and crafts to story time, singing, and outdoor adventures, no two days are the same here!
We also enjoy regular trips to local parks, playgroups, and community activities to help the children build confidence, make new friends, and explore the world around them in a safe and supportive way.
As a bilingual home (Spanish and English), I love gently introducing little ones to a second language through songs, stories, and simple words as part of our daily routine — it’s a lovely, natural way for them to pick up new sounds and phrases.
Healthy, balanced meals and snacks are provided (if required), and I’m trained in Food Hygiene to ensure everything is prepared safely and to a high standard.
I aim to work closely with families, keeping you updated on your child’s day, progress, and achievements, so you can feel fully involved in their care and learning journey.
My Experience
I’m a Level 3 qualified Home-Based Childcare Practitioner (EYFS) with additional training in Level 2 Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid, and Basic Life Support for babies, children, and adults. I’m DBS checked, Ofsted registered, and have completed local authority safeguarding training for both children and adults.
I’ve been caring for children in one way or another for most of my life — starting out as a babysitter at 14. Later on, I spent 2 years working as an Au Pair in Jersey (Channel Islands), looking after two wonderful girls, one aged 5 and the other just 9 months old. It was a fantastic experience that taught me so much about childcare, understanding children’s individual needs, and how to keep them happy, safe, and engaged. I’m still in touch with the family today, which I think says a lot about the bonds we built.
Alongside my childcare work, I also have over 10 years of experience in the NHS, including 2 years working in Neonatal Inpatient Services caring for premature and critically ill babies in both High Dependency and Intensive Care units. This role gave me invaluable experience supporting the most vulnerable little ones and their families.
I currently split my time between working part-time in the Radiology Department and childminding Mondays to Wednesdays.
Caring for children has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe every child deserves a happy, safe, and nurturing start in life.

My toddler started with Noelia last year. Noelia is very lovely and welcoming childminder, with attention to detail. We've been very lucky to have her! I've also asked to speak in Spanish to my son as we're a bilingual family so he can practice his Spanish. My son is always excited to have his time playing and learning and made friends with other children his age. Much recommended!

When my grandson first started with Noelia he hardly spoke but he really has come on leaps and bounds and is now quite chatty. He went from crying when I left him to now happily knocking on the door and walking straight in not caring and not even a good bye 😂. We get sent photos throughout the day to show what is is doing and his progress throughout the day. Noelia is very attentive and has been brilliant working with Ezrael to bring him out of himself. He loves his time there so thank you for everything you have done

My son absolutely loves his time at Noelia’s. He runs in smiling every morning and comes out chatting about his day. Noelia is a very kind, thoughtful and gentle childminder. She genuinely enjoys looking after the children in her care and takes an interest in their learning. We get regular updates and photos throughout the day so I know what they’ve been up to. I would definitely recommend Noelia if you need a childminder :)

Thank you so much Sara, it's genuinely my pleasure. Love looking after your little one and seeing how he develops and gets more and more confident, he is such a gentle child. 🥰
My son has been looked after by Noelia since he was 9 months old. I was quite anxious when he started as he was hitting the age for peak separation anxiety. Noelia was amazing at helping him to settle with her and made time to bond with him and help him to feel comfortable. Within 2 days he was smiling when he saw her on arrival. Throughout his time with her he has clearly been very content and happy.
Noelia has been great at following a similar routine to us in terms of naps and mealtimes which means that for my son her house has become home from home. We get regular updates about how he’s doing through the day and we often get photos of the activities he’s been doing. He has plenty of toys to play with and trips out to the park. Because she has got to know him so well Noelia has always very quick to pick up when he’s not feeling 100% and lets us know. I have been really happy with the care Noelia has provided and would recommend her without hesitation.
