About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and a mother of three older children, 33, 28 & 19 as well as two lovely granddaughters ages 5 and 3. I have a cosy, warm and welcoming home which is filled with a wide variety of educational and sensory toys and activities for children of all ages. I am a very active person and I take the children out daily to the local farm, the 4 lovely parks that surround my home, stay and play and music groups. It is important to me to keep the children activated and stimulated.
I respect all different cultures and families different beliefs.
My Experience
I have previous experience as a nanny aswell as working as a Social Care Practitioner in a vulnerable Young Mother and Baby residential home for several years where I was a care assistant which meant being responsible for the care, wellbeing and decision making of the mothers and babies assigned to me.

Simone has been looking after our toddler since he was one and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Simone organises fantastic trips and days out for the children in her care and they see an incredible array of what the city has to offer. Under her care our son has transformed into a sociable, confident and extremely happy little boy.
Simone has particularly helped with our little one’s speech and social interactions, constantly engaging him in conversation and helping to find the wonder and funny things in life. He’s learnt to share and take turns with other children, to eat well together and how to be kind. She teaches respect and care for each other and encourages play, fun and independence.
Simone has helped our son through potty training and has helped with physical development such as using his scooter. She always makes sure the children spend plenty of time outside and even got them building snowmen and sledging in the winter.
Simone creates a wonderful family environment for the children she cares for and I couldn’t have asked for a better start for my little one. She’s remarkably warm and caring, and clearly extremely experienced in bringing up bright, curious and well adjusted kids.

Simone has been taking care of my little girl since she was 7 months old- she’s my first baby and it was a nervous time handing her over to someone else and also starting back at work but Simone made it so easy. My daughter adores her and they have such fun days, I don’t know how she manages to do all the things they do but it’s great! We feel very lucky to have her!

Simone is an amazing childminder who has looked after my daughter for more than 4 years both for pick ups and drop offs and in the holidays. Simone is extremely reliable and flexible and has always been totally caring towards my daughter. My daughter has SEN and Simone comes very recommended especially in this type circumstance - she is totally accepting towards my daughter and includes her in everything and ensures she is just part of the group like any other child.

Simone has been looking after my child since she was 15 months, over a year now. I have interviewed many people before choosing her and I am so glad I did. She has been incredibly helpful and supportive in every developmental stage of my child, always flexible and understanding when needed. My daughter literally loves her, she is always enthusiastic to spend time with her. CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH!

Simone looked after my child from the age of 11 months until she was 3 and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. She helped with all development stages and offered great help and advice along the way. I was very nervous about leaving my baby with a childminder but Simone made us feel so welcome and like home from home. I would definitely use her again. Highly recommended!

I have known Simone for over 15 years and she has looked after one of my children a few years back.
Simone helped me potty train, wean and support my child during the transition of crawling to walking.
Simone was so trustworthy and was always there for any help and advice along the way and treated my baby like family!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
