About Me
Ive been a childminder for 25 years and have two grown up boys aged 26 and 30. Both of my boys have left home but visit on a regular basis. I live with my partner and my cockapoo and love to welcome children of any ethnic race and gender into my home to teach them new skills, offer new experiences, watch them grow and help them develop. I am an accredited childminder and can offer funded places to two, three and four year olds. Im a non smoker and work hard to provide a stimulating environment. I am very caring,nurture each child and am able to be flexible to meet both childrens and parents needs alike. I enjoy my job and strive to provide an excellent safe, secure and happy enviroment where the children can relax and enjoy their time and learn and develop new skills.
I had my last ofsted inspection in april 2022 and my provision was graded good of which i am very proud and delighted with.
Children are taken on regular outings,usually every day and i attend local toddler groups so not only do the children get to build their relationships with me but develop new skills and experience new activities through different environments..I also have a large garden where the children can enjoy outdoor play.
Im a member of the National Childminding Association and have public liability insurance in place.
My Experience
I have always had good reports from ofsted with the last inspection in april 2022 achieving a good in all areas grade in all units. . I have completed my NVQ level three, have paediatric first aid training and am trained in type 1 diabetic treatment of insulin.. I have had many children in my 25 years of work and have much experience in all aspects of child care. I regularly attend courses and forums on offer to keep my knowledge updated.
I have safeguarding children training level 1, 2 and 3.
I have many references and letters of recommendation from previous parents.

NVQ level 3 in 2010.. Full certificates attained. First aid trained

monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5pm.
