About Me
I am a level 5 qualified pre-school manager with over 15 years experience in childcare. I live in Compton, West Berkshire with my fiancé and 3 children.
I have an enhanced DBS check and I am registered on the DBS update service.
I have universal safeguarding training as well as more specialist DSL (designated safeguarding training).
I’m first aid trained and hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
I hold a clean full UK driving lisence.
I love my job very much and thoroughly enjoy what I do. It is a very rewarding role, helping to grow and nurture little minds for their futures. I work a term time only role. I am able to offer a holiday nannying position, and would consider a nanny share role across families too.
I would plan lots of fun activities to keep the children busy as well as going on walks and exploring the outside environment. I wouldnt mind doing some general household duties also.
I am hardworking and organised as a person. I can provide references.
My Experience
I have worked in 3 different nurseries and a local pre-school within my childcare career, gaining a huge knowledge and understanding of children and childcare.
I have worked with babies from the age of 3 months to children aged 5 ready for school.
I am level 5 qualified. I am first aid trained and DBS checked.
I have been on many workshops including eqality and diversity, working with parents, parents as partners, behaviour management, health and safety and child protection.
I have a good understanding of the early years curriculum (EYFS) and know how to fully implement this.
My main experience is being a Mum myself, as well as my time within childcare settings.
I nannied for a family a few years ago and I am still in touch with this family so could have them provide a reference also.
I was also previously employed as a cleaner (both commercial and private) and would be happy to takle any light household duties!!
My Qualifications
GSCEs

Level 5 diploma in Leadership for the Childrens and Young peoples workforce - Early Years (advanced practice)
First Aid
